Coach the Fragrance by Coach is a Floral fragrance for women. Coach the Fragrance was launched in 2016. Coach the Fragrance was created by Juliette Karagueuzoglou and Anne Flipo. Top notes are Raspberry Leaf, Pear and Pink Pepper; middle notes are Turkish Rose, Gardenia and Cyclamen; base notes are Suede, Musk, Cashmeran and Sandalwood.

Coach presents its new signature fragrance - Coach the Fragrance - in September 2016. The fragrance bears the same name as the 2007 edition, but is definitely a completely different creation with composition and bottle. Coach the Fragrance is designed as a scent that will convey the spontaneous energy and cool vibe of New York City. According to Stuart Vevers, the creative director of the house, Coach The Fragrance is "a fragrance that represents Coach’s free-spirited attitude...a scent that is individual, authentic, and cool."

The actress Chloë Grace Moretz has been chosen as the face of the new fragrance and the campaign shot by Steven Meisel. She represents the all-American girl with "youthfulness, modernity, authenticity and natural beauty." The actress said: “To me, this perfume is everything I love about Coach. It’s modern and happy. It perfectly captures the spirit, energy and excitement that Stuart has brought to Coach.”

The composition is floral with vibrant top notes of raspberry leaf, pink pepper and pear, which represent the energy of New York. The heart includes an authentic accord of Turkish rose, laid on the base of suede musk and sandalwood, which symbolize the leather accessories that made the brand famous. Perfumer Juliette Karagueuzoglou signed the creation.

The solid glass bottle references the signature Coach design details: a leather tag hangs from its side, the iconic turn-lock Coach handbag closure is turned into an atomizer, and the horse and carriage emblem is engraved in the glass of the bottle.

The fragrance comes in three different sizes as Eau de Parfum and as Eau de Toilette, with body lotion, body cream and shower gel.

I had a sample of this and a sample of the latest formulation of Miss Dior…guess what…this one is cheaper, performs better, and actually smells 1000x better, it’s much prettier. I don’t know what’s going on with Dior, but their 2023 Miss Dior is a sugar-powder-cheap-smelling-cloying mess. This one is a nice, modern fruity-rose, good for everyday wear, elegant enough for the office, not unique but it’s very pleasant.

grcdozstf

Very mature rose, but in a young way. Not old lady at all. Super pretty.

VioletVampyr

Received a rollerball.
Strong rose scent initially. Less aggressive rose + soap on dry down. Projects pretty well. Mildly acidic to the back of the throat. Sensitive noses, try before buying.

fragheadny

Reviews saying this smells like "old lady" are puzzling to me... I feel like this is a very youthful fruity rose fragrance. It smells like what I expect from most bath and body works shower gels. It's fruity, soapy, and powdery once it dries down. Nothing noteworthy but not offensive or "old" by any stretch. Not sure where that connection is coming from... Maybe just because of the powdery element from the suede and cashmeran? Maybe the gardenia? The note makeup of this fragrance is not what you typically find in fragrances that get labeled "old lady" scents.

100% effective headache inducer

I didnt like it, smells like granny

HallofStyle

Some perfumes remind me so much of the little rosy-scented seashell-shaped soaps my Grandma used to have in her bathroom when I was a child. This perfume is definitely one of those. I get the same vibes from Diane (EDT) by Diane Von Furstenberg and Sakura (EDP – La Privee line) by Christian Dior.

I liked the fruity opening, the pear was lovely and I also got a sparkling mandarin vibe. But the dry down is 100% rosy seashell soap.

I would definitely call this fragrance 'mature' or at the very least, 'mature-leaning.'

J0Vaughn

I wanted to like this fragrance. However, there was nothing fruity about it. I felt I purchased a bad bottle because it smelled more oriental than anything. The floral was too dominant. I think the gardenia and suede is the deciding factor of weather it will dry down clean with not trace of fruit. You definitely do not want to over spray as the fragrance is delicate and can become crushing. It is soapy but not soft the rose is one that makes it shift to the mid 30’s age range because this is far from youthful. I think in cooler weather it could prove better but in warm weather it just turned intense and and lack luster. It’s not a bad buy but you could spend the same amount on something more flattering.

kestrele

Too floral, smells too similarly to all other Coach perfumes. I love the bottle design, but the fragrance is not youthful at all.

mugatupotamus

I really like the signature Coach smell, but this one pulled way too powdery on me. It has a really pleasant bright and happy opening from the pear & raspberry leaf, but the rose almost immediately took over and pulled it down. It's a really nice fragrance, it just pulls a little "old lady" for those whose skin doesn't hold rose or very powdery scents well.

OlfactoryAmbiance

I kept this at the office for a while as a quick perfume to spray on if I forgot to put some one before I left the house. It's pleasant and inoffensive. I really enjoyed the opening and the drydown. Sometimes the rose would smell old fashioned... like a powdery, rose soap...the kind that sit in dishes in bathrooms.

junimo

Loved this when I smelled it in the shop (bright, electric opening and cozy, suede dry down), but it did not smell as nearly as nice when I took it home. Probably ages really, really well in the bottle — I was not patient enough/did not love it enough to wait for that time to come. Reminds me of what my mom used to wear when I was a kid, which isn’t a bad thing, but very specific.

Also, I’ve learned I don’t like raspberry as a note. It’s really at the forefront here.

MandalaaXO

I really didn't like it when I first got it, but it has been sitting for a while and I really love it. When I first sprayed it, there was almost a beer note to it, it's still there, but the maceration has blended it out well. A spicy woodsy floral, great for fall.

Sillykn

To me its a mix of juicy fruits, feminine florals and smooth suede. Feels really unique but crowd pleasing. It's a good price point for the quality of the scent and the performance. Finished up a 30ml bottle and missed it so much I bought a 50ml replacement. Perfect for Autumn and spring but still works for winter and summer.

pale-cinder

Synthetic soapy rose musk, some cashmere. I don’t feel any raspberry leaf or pear or pepper. It’s a headache in a bottle for me.

feuermaiden

Soapy, shampoo-esque rose. The musk and pear give it a nice youthful touch, but this is very generic and common smelling to me. Very department store fragrance counter type of scent. Pleasant and good for casual every day wear though if you’re into it. I’m not.

If anyone is familiar with the song, “The Heart is a Lonely Hunter” by Reba McEntire, I feel like this perfume is what the woman in the song wears to the cocktail lounge. It registers on me as an antique rose bar soap that is not bad, but it is fainter than I would pay for & not the luxurious vibe the other reviews seem to convey.

BritneyPerfume4Eva

Unlike other fragrances today...
It connects with the brand and the name! With its suede and cashmere (one thinks of the suede and leather of a Coach and their bags)
It's not just sugar water with zero silage or longevity! It's gorgeous, memorable and complex

Beautiful, one of the few perfumes I would call a 'love'

User2019

Smelt this on a friend and I just fell in love. It’s the perfect everyday smell. I find it hard to find a regular daily scents as I tend to like more heavy/night fragrances but this ticked all my boxes. Not too sweet or too floral. It has just the perfect amount of lasting power and makes me feel so feminine. I’m not usually a fan of rose perfumes but this scent is just so clean and not too overpowering that it just works for me. Doesn’t make u smell like an old lady. Just is a bright scent. Not too sure how else to describe it. I am always asked where it’s from and I will never stop speaking about this perfume!

wemberlyworries

My mom bought this a few years ago and it constantly made our heads turn whenever she wore it. I bought some for myself and it smelled completely different. While on her it was vibrant and lush, it smelled synthetic and dead on me. I guess it just depends on your skin /shrug/

Its definitely a bright spring smell. Like a warm ray of light riding on a cool breeze. At best it's also very juicy.

If I rate this fragrance on my mom its outstanding, on me its crap.

hpeeters

Ohhh my. I like this! i seem to always be a fan of pink pepper & This also has a lovely raspberry rose touch. There is a maturity about this one, it is quite quintessential of this brand. Just pretty & classy. & ohhhh that suede, it’s there! This scent is very dry, so this might not be for you if you like super sweet scents. I actually ended up layering this with “police, to be exotic jungle” which is a tropical vanilla with suede and it layered sooooo nicely and brought out some sweetness to this lovely scent. This also reminds me of a fav of mine, 212 VIP rose by Carolina H. It’s a love! Would make a great gift for those who like classy more mature scents that aren’t too sweet.

suzanne_ronald

VOLUMINOUS ROSE & Raspberry. Opens with a fruity burst of raspberry-pear with spicy nuances from pink pepper, that deepens into a floral heart of Turkish rose with creamy, velvety, spicy, fluffy & floral touches, all resting on a floral support of soft suede & pillow-y musk with woody touches. Overall I get a voluminous, velvety, fruity rose & raspberry scent, punctuated by pink pepper and trace patchouli. Above average performance for a year-round wearing experience. It's a love for me. Enjoy!

AmarinaFlo

Been wearing this since 2020. I returned to Ulta after previously smelling Versace Crystal Noir, to purchase as my signature scent. I ended up smelling the coach fragrances just for the heck of it. I sprayed the Coach edp on my skin and after letting it settle, immediately reconsidered my purchase. IT WAS THE SUEDE!! This is EASILY one of my most complimented fragrances by both men and women! My nose picks up the raspberry leaf first. making this remind me of raspberry tea. Then the clean, slightly soapy florals. The suede musk, however, is the star of the show! I am so glad I bought this before getting into over-watching fragrance videos because so many people brush this off as bland, basic, or boring. I guess this one'll be our little secret, lol.

Scuomo1226

I bought this at tjmaxx when I still had very little sense of smell from covid. It was on sale and I’ve never owned a coach frag… It is completely different than what I thought it was! Originally it was a blind buy and I thought it was a little generic and weak. Fast forward to today. Like five months later and I can smell again!!! I’m ecstatic!! I love the way the suede comes through this…I get the raspberry just a bit, the pear a bit more, (my chemistry LOVES pear scents) the rose is so deep on me and the suede musk and woods dry it down so beautifully. Omg I can’t get enough!! And there are about three bottles left as of earlier today. Going back to get them all!! Lol

1037

A bit generic but the suede saves it for me. I mostly get raspberry and rose, very feminine, clean, a little sweet. But then the suede and musk add some edge and depth. Such a perfect spring perfume that can easily be dressed up or down. I feel like this best suits a woman in her 20's or 30's. Even though I have a large collection, I think this would be perfect for someone who just wants one perfume to do it all. Also, I've had this perfume for a few years and just now found out you can twist the nozzle sideways to lock it. The more you know!

Layering this with Tuscan Leather or something similar (I have Nabeel Macho Man) is YUMMY. It's good on its own but extra leather makes it perfect.

Lallf

Unexpectedly pleasant smell.
Elegant and youthful.
Like a sweet young adult who looks timid from outside, but actually knows what she wants and what she’s doing.

Kensagirl

Got this as a three piece gift set. Very classy and easy to wear, feels soft and velvety, and approachable. It seems to be popular as I have smelt it on other women, typically thirties and up, so not a girly fragrance. Also have noticed it more on European tourists.

cookygirl

This was a very strong, very synthetic smelling pear/rose bomb on me.
Not horrible (my daughters actually liked it on me) but also not something I'd be tempted to buy even though rose and pear are one of my favorite note combinations. It was fruity and juicy like others have described but it just seems to be calibrated wrong for my taste or chemistry.
I really wanted to try the EDT which, judging from reviews and the notes I think might be better on me but I can't seem to find it anywhere.

nzascentz

very cute, soft, & feminine scent. not so heavy on the florals & light hints of citrus. it’s a good everyday scent for beginning perfume collectors to be very honest.

The entire Coach line is lovely, really! I’m talking the EDP, EDT, Floral, Floral Blush (and Wild Rose probably too, but I haven’t tried this one yet) series. They are light, fruity, musky and easy to wear for the daytime. Chic and classy. You can find them all for a great deal on discount sites. I wouldn’t particularly call any of them groundbreaking - but sometimes you just don’t want to wear something challenging. They all share Turkish Rose and a form of musk for a similar DNA.
The EDP version has the Raspberry and a soft touch of pink pepper up top (the Floral has a LOT more of a pepper kick, while EDT and Floral Blush have none), while drying down into a suede musk. It lasts throughout the day. The EDT is similar with musk, woods and fruit, but a LOT fruitier (think pineapple, grapefruit - tart, with a woody drydown) - the EDP is not sharply tart, has more of a tang. As such, the EDT and EDP are two sister perfumes, the EDT is not a lighter version of EDP.

SakuraFalls

I love this in EDT version. I samples both. Got the mini Parfum. Gotta say, Eau de Toilette is powdery and light and airy. I think the Eau de parfum has its' own personality, more serious and grown up. Even for evenings. The EDP has a more generic perfume smell combo that you might expect. The EDT is newer style smelling: also goes better with my chemistry. I know I could rock both but really wish I only had the Eau de Toilette. The dry down of the EDP is lovely. If you need to go somewhere and be there all day, then have evening plans- go for the EDP. You have a fun date and want to smell your best now: Go for the EDT.

Jordan 99

Nice, gentle, clean and weak, good for office or gym. Very generic.

Bondno9girl

Smells very similar to Paris hilton with the pink swirls on the bottle. THEY COULD BE SISTERS! Coach has a little suade note in it and Paris does not but they really are the same perfumes with the same lasting power. I am over this type of DNA but my bf cannot get enough!

lifnisanders

The rose is pretty dominant, it translates unisex for me. While the floral is a safe blind buy, this one is probably not.

Jummi Jade

Got this as a gift (I wouldn't have purchased it myself as I don't really like rose in perfumes. It just gives me a headache. But I like this one. The soft musk, rose and suede with fruits in the background gives a very clean and fresh vibe. I'll be using this as a day time scent.

Cresselia

I was actually meant to buy a flanker but I ended up buying this one on accident instead. I HATED it because it wasn’t what I thought I bought but after cooling down and giving it a chance I fell in love, I’ve never finished a bottle that fast oml

161kmarie

Very pleasant and simple. Musk, rose, and leather all come together for a soft, powdery skin scent. Inoffensive, year round, probably not a night time scent but great for when you want to smell pretty and clean during the day.

canabena

SO GOOD ! I smell the pear the most it really stands out and gives it that juicyness. The rose really steps in to give the perfume a more adult feel. This is a really good day time scent I would wear this to brunch, the mall or even a baby shower, Thesiliage is a bit poor sits more like an EDT on the skin but if sprayed on your clothes it projects and lasts for around 4/5 hours.I think it smells a little too nice for work but to each their own. Its light clean and inoffensive. I think this fragrance would suit a mostly younger crowd but I can also see a woman in her 40s enjoying this. However I don't see this being a juvenile scent either its a bit more grown up that being said i'm sure teens would still like this. To me this smells like the department store perfume section where so many perfumes have been sprayed it combines into a nice perfumey scent ( probably a weird way to describe this but it smells like a macys perfume section) I truly love this perfume and I think coach fragrances are so underrated. This was a blind buy for me and I am so pleased I purchased it. Its now in my top 3 fragrances.

ellovesperfume

This perfume is 100x better in summer. SO JUICY AND ADDICTIVE i couldn't stop smelling myself. I got this for christmas last year and wore it all through january. I tried it again in may/june and alot of the sweetness and juicyness disappeared. SO good in summer though its one of my favourites ever

AuthenticAF

Years ago this was my signature scent! I loved this. It was only recently reading reviews on fragrantica i realized i am consistently attracted to leather/suede and raspberry notes. I still do like it, but i feel like i have outgrown it and i have moved into a different phase in my perfume journey.

djbec

Another one of my musky scents. Quite your typical out-there scent along with thousands of other brands. Something that doesn't stand out but naturally appealing because it's light and fresh. If you want to be unforgettable to someone, just try other brands.

amyaz

Just backing up the others, probably a crowd pleaser perfume, it does smell very much like Mon Paris in my opinion... something in it gives me a headache :(

ShaLion

Oh. This is so very pretty.
It’s so gentle and clean.
The suede feels as soft here as the tender pink petals of the rose.
The fruit gives the whole body just a little tang.
Every note here whispers together to create a beautifully calming song.
It’s soft spoken and gently light hearted.
It’s a graceful light touch of a smooth soft hand.
By the comments I thought it’d be “typical” or “generic” and maybe it could be on first introductions… and I’ll admit that it’s perfect for simple days… but, Oh, that subtle suede, that soft creamy rose… I doubt I could find another built quite the same.
Yeah: I think I love this.

A side note: I don’t suggest wearing this one in high humidity- I love the musk in this, it’s beautiful and perfect-but I wore this one day where the air felt like I was swimming & it was a bit… much. Aside from that it’s a great go to! 💞

rosesblanches

I tested this in Sephora today and my first impression was that it could be a dupe for Miss Dior Cherie 2005. The same feminine, fun, girly, princess vibe. It is fruity, floral, clean and fresh. It is lovely and has entered my wishlist!

Pfleider2009

My favorite perfume! It's long lasting but not strong enough. It does smell like musky rose. I love it.

ricaangeliaa

I love this scent! It was a blind buy for me but the moment I smelled it, I instantly loved it! A signature worthy fragrance!

SlavicPrincess7

This is a lovely perfume and has become one of my signature scents. It's a safe blind buy IMO, and worth the money because it's not offensive and can be worn day, night, on any occasion. It's very pretty and feminine. For me, the raspberry and pear come out at first, then the Turkish rose develops into something gorgeous along with the suede and musk. It's not strong. I am very sensitive with heady fragrances and this isn't offensive to my nose whatsoever. This is a perfume I can easily grab if I'm in a hurry or running errands, going to work, etc. I'd wear this to or for a wedding as well. I don't find it too powdery either. I would say this is a good scent for anyone over the age of 25. It's got enough casual sophistication and class, while being very feminine. I will continue to buy this scent and hope it never gets reformulated.

musk_queen100

amazing perfume for ppl who work in the office, shop etc who wanna smell nice for everybody. There is no surprise - rose, musc some fruits... everybody will like it

dovey

Starts with a promising raspberry pear notes
But quickly turns into that dry down of leather, earthy dirt & a hint of dry rose petals
Must try on ur skin before purchase
Because the dry down is a bit strange

Dollina

I love this perfume. The notes I can smell are litchi (though it’s not listed) rose, musk and suede. It is sweet but in a sophisticated way. Just a couple of sprays are enough! Longevity & sillage are perfect.

leonaV

Just a typical fruity floral fragrance. Nothing special about it. So many similar perfumes (even cheaper) on the market. Don´t waste your money on that.

AnaCristian

This is a sweet fruity rose, slightly musky. I mainly smell the rose, a young pink rose, somehow watery. It performs ok, medium longevity and sillage. I don't know what is it, but I really hate it indoors, outside, in warm weather, it's ok. Sometimes it strucks me as the smell of the spoiled water from a vase with roses in it. I've gotten it as a present and I struggle to use it.

terigurl

Smells beautifully fresh, clean, floral, fruity and woody. Perfect every day scent. Easy signature fragrance that is crowd pleasing and also very long lasting. I've been sniffing myself all day. Affordable as well.

Update: Compliment getter!!! Lasted an entire 8+ hour workday.

la.femme.scent

Your typical fresh and fruity floral. Crowd-pleasing and inoffensive, perfect for those who just want to smell nice in all occasion. I only tested it once, but it doesn't seem to have a lot of character. But would make for an easy reach, everyday, daytime fragrance.

qofb

I totally misjudged this one when I first got it. I think because I didn't choose it. I was buying another fragrance and there were a few offers stacking which meant that I got this one for free, but there was limited choice and no testers so it was a blind buy based on hasty review reading on my phone. Never a good start... I didn't open it for months for fear I would hate it... I didn't hate it but it didn't wow me and I felt disappointed to begin with. This isn't revolutionary but it is a lovely fragrance that is actually more interesting than I first judged it.

This is primarily a mildly sweet and gentle raspberry with green pink rose, but it is in no way acidic. It's fresh and spring like. You think that's it, it's simple, but there's also a gentle suede here and it's pretty good. It just makes the whole thing more interesting, without it, this would be very similar to a lot of other things and quite forgettable. This is also creamy, warm, slightly aquatic and white musky. It's reasonably linear and light but very long lasting. One to spray a lot of! This feels elegant, fresh, clean, but also youthful.

I think this is one of those perfumes that is quiet, subdued, mostly overlooked because of its note profile, it's a bit out of fashion. It's strength is it is versatile and wearable. Something that could be someone's signature.

Britt24

This is a very lovely& fruity fragrance that I think is perfect for the spring time. I love the raspberry opening and the dry down is a nice light Rose. My only problem is it doesn't last that long on my skin so I like this mix this with kayali pink pepper since both scents share pink pepper& rose notes. It gives me the perfect fruity/Rosey scent that makes me feel sweet& playful I would definitely recommend this perfume!

Kathy Reed

It’s a rose leather scent, with a syrupy raspberry, I don’t like rose that much, this smells expensive and classy, a little too “vintage” for me I ended up giving it to my mom

Cataddicted

I remember being so exited to buy this… it was in Melbourne a few days after my wedding. I was so exited to be on my honeymoon and when my husband offered to by me a scent to commemorate our honeymoon, something about the coach brand made me really want it. I don’t really know what it was, I know it is an expensive brand, but I can think of many favourites I would have picked over this scent as a honeymoon present today. I think something about coach made me think it was a more mature yet classy lady scent, (and I had just gotten married!) so maybe that was what made me think it’d be a good choice. This is definitely nice, but when I say nice, I don’t mean buy worthy nice. It smells like a pretty basic white flowers scent to my nose. It’s not a scent I’d be able to pick out from others on a stranger. I’d have re-considered my honeymoon gift scent if I was on my honeymoon and was asked to pick out a scent for myself today. Not a very memorable scent.

antoniov

I completely agree with the comment below that says it is a suede floral. On my skin I get both fruity and floral notes, raspberry, rose, leather and something sugar-y which I loove. It is cheerful but there's also depth. It would be a great every day scent and it's not too strong but it has something unique and it is not an everyday boring scent. I'm not sure about duration yet but I could see me wearing it in the fall, winter and spring months.

Project Nostalgia

I just got a sample of this through the mail. When I first sprayed I thought this was very boring. After a couple of minutes the dry down starts to appear and it meshes more with my body chemistry - it is much more likeable at this point!
It is sweet and delicate, but also bright and cheery. It has a sparkling quality to it.
To me, this really reminds me of Oceanus which is long discontinued by the Body Shop (why??) it's very wearable I think by all age groups/genders.
Easy reach, perfectly suited for Spring/Summer.

If you like Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau So Fresh I think you would enjoy this.

LSAUG

Again w/ the cashmeran. I don't get it. It smells so fake. It makes perfumes all smell the same. That note is cloying and ruins what probably could've been a pleasant perfume.

Celinasusu

I now realize that I love raspberry in perfumes, if you like this smell midnight romance Ralph lauren its also raspberry

Celinasusu

This is happiness in a bottle! It will make you keep sniffing yourself every second. Its signature perfume material

Sliced_strawberry999

Smells like rasberry at first but drys down to an almost powdery rose it's pretty and light. I love the bottle and you can use the dangle as a keychain when it's done but honestly there are definitely better rose and rasberry smells, for example; you're the one from bath and body works smells really similar but lasts even longer.

moonsunstars

Oh wow, the suede and pink pepper blend so beautifully with the raspberry and rose on my skin. I am not normally someone who gravitates towards Rose in perfumes, and I have to say….I love this! I wish I had tried this sooner. I can see how it’s similar to Mon Paris, however that one doesn’t wear well on my skin - the fruit notes in that one are very screechy, and the fragrance just falls flat on my skin. I see it’s also compared to Armani Sì, however I don’t personally find it all that similar.

39SUMMERS

My husband bought this for me as an early birthday gift and I live it. It is not overly strong, does not give a headache or bother my allergies. I wore yesterday and could smell it all day and even when I was in bed late last night. Strong longevity on me...I say 12-15 hours worth of wear while just applying generously once. Good smell too. Lasts!

Sassy McNuggets

If you're a fan of fruity scents and you're looking for a good versatile smell, this is it. Heavy pear smell keeps it light throughout the day, the rose and sandalwood add some sophistication for nighttime ventures. I wish there was a little tartness or a note of spice to really round out the scent, but I still like it nonetheless. Lasts a good long while, but not overpowering.

Tazzyfluf

This stuck to my skin seemingly forever. It stays pretty heavy and almost musky on me. This intensifies if you go out in the heat, even just to take the trash out. I continued to smell this until I fully washed it off in the shower.

emilia123

Could not stop smelling my wrist with this one. A perfect combination of the fruity and fresh floral scents that I love. The sillage and lasting power isn't the greatest, but I really don't mind reapplying this in order to keep the scent on me all day.

monicaaooo

I couldn't smell anything for the first 30 minutes? I have a sample vial that I literally poured down my wrists and the crook of my arm. I was so confused because it smelt like nothing even though on paper it had a pleasant enough scent.

About half an hour later, I could finally smell something. I couldn't identify any single notes because it smells exactly like when you first walk through the perfume section of a department store but lighter. So I guess it smells like....perfume? That lasted about 5 hours at a skin scent and now 8 hours later, it's almost completely disappeared.

So very glad I tried a sample because I love how the bottle looks and almost took the plunge of blind buying it. Waiting 30 minutes just to smell like generic perfume isn't for me but I'm chalking it up to my skin's chemistry.

carlaelle

Fantastic raspberry blast upon application - a real pick me up. Starts nice and fizzy and then settles down nicely into something softer and more comfortable. A go to "hangover" perfume. While I find Coach as a brand boring as hell, this perfume can be found real cheap and is a good daytime, non offensive perfume.

Manya3

Meh. It makes me shrug.
It's nice but so similar to a 1000 other perfumes. Hard to dislike it though - it smells like a perfume counter in a shopping center, a mish-mash of florals, fruits and musk, and there's so much in it that the final composition is blurry, abstract, and you almost recognise one or two very familiar scents that you actually like in it, but it stays blurry and out of focus till the very end.
I have a sample vial that I'm wearing to work and it's perfect for that, inoffensive, pleasing to most people, very neutral.
I like the bottle though but it looks more promising than the scent itself.

The opening of this fragrance is fruity and fresh, I can smell the pear right away more than the raspberry or the pink pepper I still love it tho 😍, I’m sad that the opening only lasts for a few minutes then you get a blast of florals.

I love gardenia but I don’t know if it’s a good combo with the Rose and cyclamen it seems very sophisticated (grown up) kinda smell, the florals become powdery when they dry down and mix with the base notes, I think what saves this fragrance from being grandma like is the fruits in this that make it sweet and light, I like it tho seems flirty sophisticated and expensive

I could see myself wearing this for a dinner with family, even a dinner with my boyfriend’s family or business meeting, it’s for a woman that likes to be well put together

I have the other version of this the floral version and that one seems way more fun and girly than this one, coach floral even tho it says it’s “floral” it’s not, it’s very sweet and fruity, if you are looking for something sweet, fruity flirty chic and fresh I’ll recommend that one instead of this one ☺️ if you are looking for something sophisticated slightly sweet and that smells expensive then this one is perfect!

Bottle - 5/5
Scent - 4/5
Longevity- 4/5 (it lasts on my skin for about 7 hours and I like that, I don’t like fragrances that last for more than that)
Sillage -2/5 (the sillage is poor, the person has to be shoulder to shoulder to be able to smell u)

Smonalisa

Starts out with a sour fruity blast, then dries down to a red berry and rose. There is a strong incense in the dry down that makes this a little dirty and woodsy . Maybe that’s the suede ... may need to go find some suede and sniff it. I can’t stop sniffing this though. I would wear this in Fall or winter, may be a mess on a hot summer day.

I've been wearing this more in the fall and do notice a beautiful bloom of powder in the heart that lingers for a while. Its my favorite part and makes me want to respritz to get some more.

Since I've been a huge fan of Coach Leather goods (fabulously rugged school/work items) since my pre-teen years, I just decided to try this iteration of their signature scent.

It opens with a blast of my beloved raspberry and then pear. The pink pepper adds enough spiciness to tickle my nose. As it dries down, I could swear I was getting a caramel scent? Yet there's no mention of caramel in the notes. The rose then takes center stage, with gardenia wafting in the background. The "suede" note is faint, but there. Overall impression is a clean, fresh, slightly sweet/spicy, innocuously pleasant daytime fragrance. Sillage is moderate and the body lotion increases it. Longevity increases when sprayed on fabric. The gift set came with a 7.5 ml purse spray, but I've yet needed to "refresh" the scent. As mentioned by others, it really does remind me of Nina Ricci's L'Extase. Though Coach's raspberry/rose is lighter and brighter and more suited to cool/warm weather. NRLE performs better in colder weather and it definitely has caramel in it! Coach is a keeper for this raspberry fragrance lover! 😊

Phemia

Coach is a middle of the road fragrance. There's nothing special that stands out here. It's pretty, safe, inoffensive, unremarkable. The initial spray goes on overwhelmingly fruity that takes a while to settle down. The fruits are tart and the pepper adds a spice that makes this a sharp, piercing scent. It's not necessarily a bad thing, but compared to the last fragrance I tested - Versace Crystal Noir which has a soft rounded quality, this one definitely packs a punch. I'm reminded of Wild Poppy by Nest when I smell this, but less sweet, sharper, and less fruity than Wild Poppy. As it dries down, the rose starts to stand out more, it's very clearly a rose scent and not a generic "floral" note that some other scents have. The base notes, particularly the sandalwood, aren't incredibly noticeable unless I get closer to my wrist. The sandalwood and the rose seem to dance around each other but not in a way where either one are competing for attention. There's no denying this is a well blended fragrance. Its a bit powdery, slightly sweet. There's a warm undertone to this but it's also light and fresh, making it suitable for Spring, Summer, or Fall. It's not quite a night scent in my eyes, definitely more suited for the daytime. It lasts a moderate amount of time and I can certainly smell it on myself, however, I don't think this projects as much as some other perfumes do but that's why I can see it as a work-safe scent.

annasarahr121

Goodness, Coach is certainly fresh and pretty but it sure is boring! It smells like there's peony in there, though it's not listed in the notes. For similar light, fresh, pretty fragrances, I'd much prefer Versace Bright Crystal (with its sharp yuzu citrus note), Red Door Revealed (light pink peony with a slightly bitter note -- oakmoss or guaiac wood or ambergris?), or my beloved Jessica Simpson Vintage Bloom (lemony/peony/musky -- just bought a backup bottle of this one because you can go to town with the overspraying -- it's so light!). As for Coach, meh! I'll pass it on to my daughter or step-daughter.
***********************************
This is not the first time I have made a u-turn with respect to a fragrance, and I have with Coach! I tested it again today and decided I love it. It's a subtle scent -- and I'm a "lady of the eighties" so I'm used to challenging powerhouses! -- but, when I pay attention here, I notice such a pretty, clean, shampooey (but not too shampooey!) scent. I describe it as "shampooey" because it's softer and rounder than soap; soapy scents have a sharpness and edge like the extreme example of Estee Lauder White Linen with its aldehydes (though soapy scents don't have to be aldehydic). Coach is so well-blended that it's hard to pick out any notes (though I thought I might smell rose, and there it was). It's lightly floral, especially at first, and I smell something of a honeysuckle-type note (the freesia, maybe?) that quickly dissipates. As it dries down, a light fruitiness begins to dominate (it seemed like berries or a light, sweet citrus, but the notes say pear and raspberry leaves). For some reason, it reminds me a bit of My Burberry, but not as strong and sharp (soapy!). For an inexpensive perfume ($20 at Ross), it has decent lasting power (4 hours or so; after that, I could still detect it but as a skin scent). It's definitely not a distinguished scent but it's a very pretty one that I'm glad to have in my collection. Plus, when I'd sprayed a bunch of it on myself and walked into the room, my husband said, "Mmmmmmm! You smell good!" So it's a people pleaser, which is sometimes very nice! :)

LaelMitchell

To put it simple, to me it smells VERY similar to Giorgio Armani Sí. Almost exact.

CoffeeCup

Clean light non-descript fruity floral musk. Inoffencive springtime office scent. Slightly cold, slightly sweet, slightly green - this smells like what springtime feels to me.

It's in the same vain as Brit Sheer, Envy Me, Pretty, smt from Yves Rocher, simply newer version of the same old "throw in your bag and forget about" stuff. If you lose it, no biggie. If not then the bottle looks cool enough to pull out in the ladies for the after lunch/3 o'clock top-up. So yeah.

So, what does it smell like? Opens with raspberries, has a phase of fresh mouthwatering raspberry-rose and dies down to "safe office floral". If i didn't know better I'd guess there are more flowers in there than listed in the pyramid - daffodil maybe, a dash of lily-of-the-valley, bit of peony posdibly, something metallic, too. So, this is what cyclamen smells like - cool aloof transparent, impossible to pin down. Shifting in and out of focus. Suede however could be more pronounced, it would make it more interesting for sure, maybe even memorable.

Sage green, pale pink, nude - this is the colour scheme that comes to mind. Nude pencil skirt, blush pink leather jacket, flowery satin scarf, sunglasses on hair, just in case the light gets more intense, chilly toes in pretty patent pumps... And off to work she skips in an early morning.

RitzySpritz

This is pleasant but very similar to Acqua di Parma’s Peonia Nobile, and I think that one performs a bit better.

AqsaAtiqRana

Coach the Fragrance is predominantly a sweet floral perfume, as are the other fragrances in the Coach line. The notes which seem to stand out the most upon the initial spray of the fragrance are raspberry, rose and pear. All of which are included in the top and heart notes of the fragrance. The smell of Turkish rose mixes really well with the pear whilst the raspberry adds a more sweet and youthful type of smell. This is all followed by a musk and suede base. It all mixes to make a smell which is sweet and floral yet somewhat sophisticated. It’s easily a smell you could wear for occasions such as every day, office, dates, special events, etc. Though the perfume profile in itself isn’t unique, it’s through this that it finds its strength and becomes a versatile fragrance.

It’s described as a floral and fruity fragrance. A lovely perfume for anyone looking for something light and sweet. It’s definitely a good ‘dumb choice’ in the sense that I can really see this being worn whenever by almost anyone, old or young. It’s gotten a lot of positive reactions from the younger women in my life but extremely positive reactions from the older women in my life. It’s usually followed up by them asking what the fragrance is and then proceeding to buy it. As I said before, though the profile itself isn’t unique – the way in which the notes are blended create a good scent that’s inoffensive and will probably get a good reaction from most people.

The sillage of the perfume is pretty good, I would say that I’m actually able to smell this perfume from somewhat of a distance. And the smell does linger – for me it’s in a good way although I’m not so sure what other people would think about it. The lasting power is good for its price point, I found that two sprays of the bottle lasted about eight hours on my skin. It lasted longer when sprayed into fabrics, I would probably say an extra two hours of wear time.

I would honestly recommend this to almost anyone who enjoys a good sweet and floral perfume with no age range in mind. It’s like I said before, the perfume isn’t unique in anyway – however it’s in this that lies its strength of versatility.

cooke.84

Light and fruity without much staying power. The notes look promising but the performance isn't there - at least on my skin.

grapefruit352

Simple scent, slightly fruity, slightly sweetish, but mostly fresh, youthful. Does not reminds mon Paris by Guerlain and Chloe perfumes which are sound way more sophisticated.
This one is closer to the Lacoste style. Lacoste pour femme..? Also the same price segment they both have.

Koningin

This smells like a softer version of Armani In Love With You Freeze. This one dries down powdery while In Love With You Freeze dries down with patchouli bomb.

SmellieKat

This is what Chloe EdP should smell like. I happen to love it as the go-everywhere perfume that it is. Perfect for every occasion, a friendly soapy rose that is always right.

Artio

It's alright, not that memorable. Also gave me a headache shortly after testing it on my skin.

Luki1

It is nice, with a sweet musky scent. But it's not so memorable. And I immediately got tired of the smell 2 months after buying it.

geeshi_94

I could hardly smell the floral notes because the fruity notes kinda overpowers in this fragrance but the drydown is pretty amazing, I get that subtle musky/powdery note as it settles down on the skin.

Longevity: 5/10
Silage: 6/10
Overall: 6.5/10

asjkfbs653

I had this in 2017 and used up the whole bottle in a couple months as it was the only fragrance I wore while having it. A very nice and safe perfume, long lasting with medium silage, safe for the office environment. Casually-Elegant, can be worn on day dates as well as evening dates.

Cookietookie215

Should have remembered this has rose. Not a fan of rose at all and ROSE is the star here. You get the rose, tart berries and some woods. Stays really linear through out its lifetime on the skin. Until the woods come in and wrap it up. Nothing special at all. Perfect for office wear, running errands or around the house. It has nothing in its DNA that will make it memorable. Just a nice average fragrance. Was super cheap on Ebay so I can't complain.

MnM

I tested it at Macy's and loved it, my hubs didn't care for it. Bought it :) and then hated it- he was right. Ugh! It sat on my dresser for 2-3yrs. Recently my daughter came up to me with a tester and said she was getting it- she loved it. I promptly gifted it to her. The other day she walked past me and I thought, hmm not a fan and asked what she was wearing- she was wearing this. She really loves it so no money loss.

TexasOrangeBlossom

In my opinion Coach for Women is best suited for spring and late summer/early fall, but certainly can be worn year round. It’s my “I want something clean and fresh but not overly floral” scent, especially when I want something like a Chloé fragrance but not a rose and peony punch in the face. Sorry, sometimes those are too much for me. Coach gives me an expensive light soapy freshness making it safe for day and office wear. It’s inoffensive to most. It may not garner tons of compliments because most people will just perceive it as smelling good without attributing it to your perfume. I suppose that wouldn’t be the case if oversprayed, but isn’t that always the case? Side note, I like Coach Floral for summer.

Hello_kieren

I really wanted to like this after blind buying but I just couldn't. It reminded me a little bit of Miss Dior Cherie but not as sophisticated. It made me feel nauseous and gave me a headache :(

I mainly wanted to test this because I like the idea of a sweet and girly rose fragrance with a noticeable suede or leather note. Well, this is a nice fruity rose with lots of raspberry and a little pear, rounded out by some wood-like pink pepper. But I really don't get any suede from this. A pretty scent that would make a good daytime fragrance, a safe blind buy or gift, but nothing special as there are so many raspberry-rose combinations out there. I wish they would have amped up the suede and maybe even the sweetness to give this a more distinct personality.

DebiL1211

Raspberry, rose, and pear. A beautiful soft fragrance with decent longevity. I like this fragrance but would probably not repurchase. It is too subtle for my liking. However, it is a great office scent because of its subtlety.

Longevity: 5 hours
Sillage: less than arm's length
Repurchase: Not likely
Recommend: if you are looking for a subtle work fragrance

ceram

This is an incomplete review. After asking a counter lady if they stocked Chanel No. 19, she said no and then walked over to retrieved this for some reason. After spritzing a strip of paper and shoving it at me, I sniffed and declared it smells like Burberry's My Burberry Blush. She looked at me blankly, sprayed a few more Coach flankers for me to smell, and then walked off.

Her odd behavior made more of an impression than this frag, but I still would say it's worth trying. I really enjoy pear notes and rose as long as it plays well with other notes, so from what I experienced this is a safe blind buy to those who might be looking for the same. I unfortunately tossed the strip before realizing I should have held on for the true dry-down. Maybe I will update if I end up purchasing.

Doroty

I just bought It as blind-buy and I LOVE IT! At first It’s very fresh, kinda floral but then it is more on winter side(I mean It’s heavier) and dry-down is stunning! I’m not fan of musky sweet scents but this? This deserves attention. Love it 😊 It reminds me of Miss Dior...

mevans

I have the eau de toilette and it's all right. Not special, doesn't cause me to put my nose to wrist. The sandalwood and suede are all I smell at first and the floral or fruit notes come forward after about an hour. I'm not really a fan, it's just alright.

Shoe Heart

I am a fan of Coach bags and recently got into perfume so I wanted to try this for sure. It's very sweet. I don't pick up any of the notes really. I was interested in experiencing the suede note but I don't pick up on it at all. I like sweet fragrances (Flowerbomb, BonBon), but this one is a little too synthetic sweet smelling for my taste. Not impressive longevity and sillage either.

NessS

I like fruity rose scents and this is ok but something about it is a just a tad synthetic and then turns into smelling a bit like a grandma?

Balletflowers

Does not smells like YSL Mon Paris. This is fresh, rosy & soapy. Projection & lasting power very weak. Nothing special about this.

Edit: I sprayed this on my shirt on Sat, I wore the shirt today on Tuesday & it smells very strong with great siliage still. It’s strange, when I first spray it I feel like it’s too light, I feel like it disappeared after 10mins but it’s still there on my shirt??

masako_30

The suggestion of similarity to Mon Paris, or this juxtaposition, is quite apt at least as a first step. Then, Coach proves to be a transformist, it takes on the appearance of Edp Chloé kind of rose.
I would like to say that those who find the last fragrance too exuberant, a little dry, sharp or narcotic may try Coach, that imo is softer, moderate, sober but very similar conceptually, and so graceful.

Saraviah

I was very excited to finally try a fragrance by Coach! But I think I picked the wrong one try out..it is very safe & generic. When you think of a basic perfume smell this would be it. It's not a bad smell; it's pleasant but there's just nothing unique about it. Smells like sweet soapy flowers to me...I'm not really getting any rose from it. It's lasting performance was very impressive as it is very harsh upon first spray but stays closer to the skin. It's an old school smell that I could imagine my classy mother wearing. I'm not giving up on Coach as there are several other ones I'm dying to try that sound more suitable for my taste!

Twilight_princess

I am unsure if I have the right coach lol, I think it was this one. But it seems i have had the same experience as others here, in that it dries down to smell like a very familiar, sharp, cold, dusty rose?
Something I smelled when I was a child, in the 90s. Also I just noticed it sort of reminds me (6+ hours later, close to skin now), of Burberry Brit rhythm. Lol I might be way off but I swear it's what I can smell, as I have that one. I didn't bring this one home with me, I got Kenzo flower Lumiere instead. But the smell coach has is very nostalgic and kind of cant get enough of it because of that. I'm wondering now if I'm reviewing this one or the floral one, or the original haha I actually am not sure, but seems my experience matches others here

VanillaTabbyCat1963

I bought this fragrance on a whim because I was interested in the rose/raspberry notes that are in the forefront, and because this scent is unlike the kinds of fragrances I usually go for. I find it very sweet and like it for that. At first candied raspberries with a hint of rose is all I detect. Later, things get really nice with the suede accord coming to the forefront.

The longer I wear it, I get wafts of the tuberose and pear. Really beautiful!! I wanted something that is sweet, youthful and lighthearted as a switch from some of the heavy white florals I gravitate toward these days. I am really happy that I purchased this fragrance! It is becoming one of my favorites for daytime wear. I could see myself purchasing it again.

elmccullar

It's nice, but very uninteresting and boring. It's been done 100 times and there are better fragrances in this vein. Soft and sweet and generic.

ladyinthewater

I feel like I have different bottle from you guys, because all I can smell is super generic fruity-floral (or even gourmand?) perfume that you can find practically everywhere. Nothing stands out about this perfume.

JuneBug_89

Hi, it is early spring and still kind of cool here in CT- I smell rose, and musk and some green notes—- this must actually be the raspberry leaf.
The opening is strong and sweet but after an hour, this softens and becomes so lovely
and classy. Makes me think of pink candles burning inside a white room with either early spring or early fall outside.
It is a beautiful, soft feminine fragrance. Not really getting much New York edge in it.

TonyAKAMrClean

A guy's perspective? Smells expensive. Would pair well with a fragrant new leather purse, so that's very fitting. And go figure, I've smelled this one before, on a girl I know who has plenty of cash to spare who owns many Coach purses. She probably paid full retail for this scent, but it goes for $30 online. Extremely strong performance too. Spray once, that's all you'll need! I wish Coach for Men was this strong and long lasting! o_0

Sailor Pluto

This is extremely dry, unsweetened and high-pitched. It reminds me of Paris by YSL but without the violet. The suede is quasi-aldehydic here, which makes it piercing. I would recommend spraying from far and walking into the spray to allow for the scent to disperse in small quantities all over the body. That being said, I love this scent. It is very classic, refined.

Luthien999

I love it! Such a Wonderful, innocent but playful fragrance at the same time, perfect for spring. Day- time.

delightme5

Ok, something you have smelt, known and loved before.
Can i love this smell again ? Sure. Its rosey with hints of jammy peeping through now and then. A simple delight which fits nicely wherever your going.
Eventually tho, the turkish or otherwise roses which do have a litle turkish delight going on, which your nose gets flashes of - will turn into something else. This seems to transform into that old world chypre dry dusty musty rose,- not a bad thing ! It is reminiscent of things like cabochard or animale. I nearly would say also like caleche dry rose, but no, this has not that quality. This dryness (coach edp) in the end sits comfortably on a mans skin also. It does on mine.

pandasjors

I find it to be quite generic. The first initial sprays remind me of Chloe edp, after a while it settles down to mostly an ambery rose scent. Oldfadhioned. Smells like my moms perfume in the 90s. It’s not bad though, Just not my cup of tea. Longevity on clothes 6+ hours!

SprayItJustSo

WOW this one is crazy for me! I’m absolutely loving the Turkish rose here. The suede and raspberry have me in heaven right now. I usually despise rose notes but this one is absolutely addicting. The opening is enormous and outstanding. The longer I wear it the more the clean soapy scent develops. Personally, I could have done without that.
The suede gives it depth and interest. The whiffs of raspberry in this are just divine.
A beautiful frag to wear occasionally in spring or summer to work. I could see a lot of compliments from this one but rare that someone feel strongly enough to purchase it unless they’re like me and you actually spray this on by them and they may fall in love with that raspberry and Turkish rose opening!
Does the EDT keep the lighter top notes better? I would love to have my things smell like that! Maybe not me though?
It’s a younger scent IMO though I can see that right personality pulling this off at any age. Fun and flirty. The suede gives it just enough seriousness that you wouldn’t mistake this for a body spray.
I really think this would benefit from layering as it seems to be missing something more dynamic. Would like to try this layered over a tobacco or incense or add a strong vanilla scent with this. It is lacking a bit in depth and character. Though my initial reaction was an overwhelming love. Still a strong like for this overall.

rola.asad

A better acquisition than Rihanna Rouge!!
The suede note is not a preferable note for me, but since it is well mixed with raspberries and roses, I can pull it off!

I've never considered buying it at all, since its longevity and sillage are not the best, but!! when my friend told me she used it in her honeymoon, and said its sillage is indeed soft but it stays on her clothes for so long, I said maybe I should give it a second chance! so I saw it yesterday in the perfumery shop and the man there kept saying it is so romantic and lovely you should consider having it!!,, but I just find it a bit generic, and not a memorable scent at all!!

lanaconstantinova

Update... it smells different in different places I am not so thrilled about it. It smells OK on me, but reminds me of some old perfumes I smelled before when I was a kid. It has a nice opening still. I would not purchase it second time. But I got my same old Jeanne like a dozen of them I used already...
This does not not surprise me that the creator of this masterpiece is the same who created my first favourite one which is Jeanne. When I wear it I forget my age and all the troubles. This little bottle takes me into a completely different dimension. I can't thank your team enough for such great perfumes. I think it's also have very high quality ingredients as they don't turn into something nasty on me. It doesn't matter how long I wear it still stays very pleasant. Real treasure to find this one in the ocean of perfumes these days. I love everything about it. Please don't stop making them.

GagMyFrag

Super safe blind buy and market-friendly fragrance. I get soft floral, not so much fruity as people are saying it is as its very far from celebrity frag type fruity, but it gives me a fresh clean linen kind of feel, I put this on after showering. Longevity is quite good I can get about 6-7 hours from it, and I think anyone of any age can pull this off.

Mrs.Allard

The raspberry pear accord somehow reminds me of pineapple? Maybe because it has a tangy quality to it. Like a more expensive version of the pineapple in Jlo lLive. It's not exactly the same just slightly reminicent of it. This fragrance is one of those where it seems like nothing special when you test it at the store but after a while your looking for where that amazing smell is coming from. It smells so expensive and modern and also very casual and approachable. Once I figured out what it was I tested, I HAD to add it to my collection.

MWROMO

Lovely composition that I like to wear a lot lately. There is something sweet and fruity with a lot of rose and leather notes that compliments each other. I find it interesting and pleasant.
Worth having in perfume collection.

Mbrock

I see a lot of reviews saying clean, fresh & rose for this perfume but i get something way different. Its sweet & generic on me. I cant actually pick out any scent. Rose & gardenia are 2 of my top floral scents & I cant smell either. Pear does tend to turn sugary on me & thats all im getting. I hate to say this since everyone says it about every perfume but it does end up being like a less sweet LVEB on me but less interesting with less depth. Its nice. There is nothing wrong with this. It smells good. I guess I just expect more than just its nice or ok when I smell a perfume.

Preeti77

Most reviewers have said that this has lots of Rose but unfortunately i just got hints of Rose that too after 2 hours.

It has sharp and sweet opening floral notes that linger on for long. Most people describe it as a Rosy scent but on my skin and to my nose, it has sweet and powerful musk, leather and spice with Sharp Raspberry and Pear in the opening notes on first spraying which after 10-15 minutes changes to a mostly floral and fruity note with a hint of musk.

I love the middle notes and base notes more as they are quite subtle and mellow. The middle notes do not last long though.

Over all it was too sharp for me and did not impress me with its composition.

HuneyB

Tested this and I absolutely love it. Sure it may be something that appeals to the masses, but I don't care. If I like a fragrance, I like it and that's that. I smelled this one as I was randomly testing fragrances at a department store and I kept going back to Coach New York, so I sprayed some on my wrist. It was heavenly and dried down to this sweet, but light powdery scent with a bit a spice. It totally reminded me of the fall and I knew I had to have it. This is great for every day and won't offend anyone. I'm thrilled because I've been searching for an every day fall scent that's pretty, but very much says fall is here!

pancakefarm

Not for me, but safe for most.

Lovelyscent25

OHMYGOODNESS!This perfume is amazing on me! I have the type of chemistry that gets along with multiple types of different scents and this is one of them! My chem and coach were made for each other and my husband constantly compliments me on it. I will agree with the review here that they get rose and musk. It is so stunning and classy! LOVE IT!

ariej2010

This perfume did not impress me at first but I Catch myself applying it more and more often. It is a comfort fragrance!!!
It is a very different scent, like a clean magic garden... Sweet, innocent but at the same time a bit spicy... It is not my profile, I sprayed it and can not perceive it in myself after 1 hour. My body drank it... but several hours later my mother asked me what perfume was I wearing, she loved it!!! And I was surprised that it was still showing!
I is great for those instances I need to cleanse my nose and palate...

Albiretu

I had a bottle of this last year and I LOVED IT. I mostly smell rose which I love. A bit musky too. Love love love. This is just so elegant and so beautiful

CunningStunt

This review is for the EDP. I don't like the opening as much because it's a bit candyish for my taste and not really what I was expecting, but soon after I smell mostly rose, musk, and a woody accord which is really nice. I still love it enough despite the opening though since I love anything with rose in it.
This fragrance matches up perfectly with Caress Love Forever body wash, which has a lightly sweet rose and berry scent with a soapy edge like this perfume, much more soapy and a bit sharper but it fades down to a nice sweet rose. They work together beautifully and seem to play off eachother to boost sillage and longevity, which is already good for the perfume but I like to be able to smell it myself too.
I never cared for Coach bags or their general aesthetic so the bottle is kind of unappealing to me, but I'm more interested in the juice inside anyway so it's not an issue. The drydown of this is very feminine and sexy, with a touch of class. Good for any season or weather but it can get a bit cloying in heat and humidity so just go easy on the trigger. Maybe the EDT would be better suited to summer heat and humidity, but I haven't tried it so I can't say for sure either way.
Of course it's wonderful on it's own, both fragrances are, but it's absolutely amazing layered with Imari Seduction from Avon. To some, it may seem ignorant or even downright blasphemous to layer higher end/designer perfume with anything from Avon but don't knock it till you try it. It creates a very sexy and unique fragrance.

Shoshi

This one smells like Armani Si to me.
Lately I feel like so many perfumes smell like Armani Si!
It's like a sweet rosey innocuous kind of fragrance.
Is this the new trend in fragrances?

yuliannart

I love this fragrance for what it is: fresh, sweet rose and soapy. It is one of the latest sweet creations undoubtedly, which I don’t usually care for to wear but seem to like it on other people. So, this is my compromise. It is not overly sweet. It smells clean. I could wear it to the gym, or on a busy day, when I still want to smell the soapy clean way. It is an easy fragrance, but in no way cheap. It stayed on my pink and gray (the colors seemed to suit the smell well) scarf for a week. It also went so nicely with a soft woolen sweater, very cozy.

N311

I bought a medium sized bottle of this for a good deal online about a month or 2 ago. I wasn't very impressed at first. Then, one day I decided to wear it on an exam day since I enjoy wearing something fresh and fruity during tests. I usually have pretty bad anxiety and I couldn't help but notice how I calm I was feeling. I realized that the smell of this perfume makes me feel happy and calm. There is no other perfume that makes me feel like this. There must be a note in this perfume associated with a happy childhood memory of mine or something.

All that being said, I agree that it isn't a super complex, NYC feel perfume. It is a soft, girly, fresh, fruity perfume. I really do like it though! It just makes me happy.

The silage is pretty soft-moderate I would say. However, I once sprayed Gucci bamboo on one arm and coach on the other and coach definitely overpowered bamboo. So I can't say it is 'that' soft of a silage. I would also say that I am impressed with the longevity. I sprayed it on myself last night and could smell it on me early afternoon! (I sleep in late on weekends. Don't judge. ;) )

Edit: I can still vaguely smell it after a shower--and I take long showers.

chinchillyf

I mistakenly brought this on my short trip to Bali. It's 32°C there and the notes were simply, ruined. It got too sweet, WAY too sweet it gave me headaches. I actually tried really hard to wash it off from my watch straps. Now I'm scared to wear it again since the city I live in is nearly that hot too.

Might give it a try if I get the chance to move around at night, in a car with full-AC on.

But right now, just the sight of its bottle brings me memory of the headaches.

stefanie76

A pretty rose and pear scent. Not especially complex or demanding. Just refreshing and pleasant. This would make a nice, safe gift for your girlfriend.

magdalena81.1

This is really nice! Starts out floral like the edt but transforms in to a heavier, muskier complex scent pretty soon with an interesting depth that is similar to Zadig and Voltaires This is her. If you like that one but think it´s to much in your face I recommend this.

Charess

Something fresh, something floral, someting sweet... Nice fragrance, but in my opinion a little boring. Nice, but not exciting.

Initially I mostly get pink pepper and musk, later it gets more floral/fruity and in the drydown it's still floral/fruity with suede and cashmeran added. I like the drydown the most. It's good quality, the notes are very well-blended.

Sillage is soft-moderate and longevity is 3 - 4 hours.

FrkFors

It says raspberry leaf, but I smell raspberries.
And the pear accentuates that note. When first applied, it's very candy sweet and a bit tart, and also fresh and slightly soapy. And when it has settled for a bit it's still sweet but a bit deeper and a little warmer. The drydown is smooth and powdery with hints of the top notes. I guess you could say it's a bit linear, but I absolutely don't mind!
All in all I can for the most detect a raspberry that is just perfectly ripe, soft pink pepper, a young rose and some powdery/musky notes. It smells "young" but at the same time I can see people in all ages wearing this! It's a very uncomplicated perfume in my opinion, and it's actually very uplifting and positive. It smells clean and I love how comfortable and carefree it makes me feel when wearing it!
I think it's a really good daytime scent that fits every occasion.

evatgirl73.1

I think this is such a beautiful fragrance! Sure, it may not be revolutionary but it is very pretty. On me it is sweet but not overwhelming at all, very soft and smooth. If I was shooting a commercial for this there would be a flowy chiffon dress and long windswept hair involved..! It’s sensual but in an understated way, probably the cashmere and suede. I do get the sweetness of the raspberries, and the rose is there but soft and sweet. I love rose (in life and in fragrances) but it can have a sharp note and this doesn’t at all. Another reviewer called it “rich” and that’s a great way to describe it! To me, this is a very lush, easy to wear fragrance. I would be comfortable wearing this in pretty much any situation, not too heady for work or crowded places, special enough for date nights!

aura_therapy

I am a rose lover, but this is too sweet for me. It’s a shame because I thought the notes had potential.

muahah

Raspberry, bit rose, pear and suede. Slightly soapy (maybe because of musk). There is something bit scratchy. At first it was on cooler side, but with time suede and wood notes came out more what made this perfume bit warmer. It represents some type of movement and freedom - it's bit sporty, on a away, in a party perfume. Not overly sweet. This pink-beige tone package and young free woman in advertising photo fits perfume nicely. Inoffensive, lightweight and bit refreshing. Nothing very unique or special, I have smelled similar modern perfumes before. Straight forward, easy perfume. Suede and wood notes gives some attitude and even elegance. With time it became in my opinion bit masculine.
This perfume would fit some clean, lovely city, which is smaller, but busy enough. Or maybe it is some lovely district in large city. I feel that it would fit a younger woman who is walking on street, she enjoys fresh breeze from nearby park roses and close there is some desert store. In hand she could carry her newly purchased suede leather bag.

Lucky7z

Another sample I finished up!!!

On me this is a light rose-ish scent that I'm really loving considering I'm not big on any kind of rose in perfumes period.

I mainly pick up a light musky, suede and raspberry with subtle hints of rose and I'm also detecting a creaminess too.

Longevity and sillage are both moderate on me.

I see a bottle of this being added to my collection!

Virgoesque

I received Coach The Fragrance as a Christmas gift and I couldn't be happier, after all, I wanted it!! It starts off with a beautiful rose/raspberry/pear and the dry down is a sweet mix of suede and raspberry. I'm not great at identifying all notes in a perfume, but that's what I get from it. This fragrance does remind me of another perfume, but I'm at a loss as to which one. I am unfamiliar with the Ferragamo line, so that's not it. Anyway, it doesn't matter, because this is a really lovely scent with good longevity and moderate sillage! I love it and I think it's perfect to wear for most occasions. Thank you Coach...I never dreamed I would own a Coach perfume instead of a purse!

kristamb

Meh. My husband bought me a deluxe gift set of this perfume for Christmas (auggh!), so I am really trying to like it....I know that my husband really likes the perfume Incanto Charms when I wear it (and really, I only wear that one sometimes because he said he likes it!!!!). This reminds me a lot of that perfume. It is really mostly floral to my nose, which I really have a hard time with, as I prefer musky and oriental perfumes, having only few florals in my collection. This smells like something else I have tried before too, maybe it is the L'Extase by Nina Ricci, mentioned by other reviewers...It smells a little similar to Express's #1 scent for women too...and also similar to Good Chemistry's Queen Bee scent you can find at Target. It definitely doesn't smell unique or new, which is maybe why I find myself so disinterested in it. I keep going through the base notes trying to see if I like the drydown even, but it's just not anything I like, unfortunately!! It is a pretty typical feminine perfume scent to me, and I feel like I smell wayyyyy (too!) flowery and mature wearing this (and I am 38). I might try to wear it more in the spring. I will update my review if I change my mind. But as of now, I wouldn't recommend this to others. Sorry, Coach.

LoveJoy22

EFFORTLESS BEAUTY:

Wow, what a pretty fragrance. This shares very close similarities to Salvatore Ferragamo- Signorina Eleganza! Classy & Sophisticated. A fluttering butterfly Flare! Very soft, & alluring. It's clean, lightly sweetened, slightly powdered, pear-raspberry- & Rose! It is so beautiful.

bjer-don

My biggest complaint with this is that the sprayer really sucks!!!

I need to use both hands to be able to press it hard enough to get a decent spray, which means I can't really spray my wrists. If I do use one hand to spray myself, it kind of half sprays and the stream of liquid that comes out is very pathetic.

AnitaHendricks

This perfume is casual and inoffensive but still classy. There's fruity, fresh raspberry in the opening. Rose and leathery suede show up soon after. The other notes create more dimension so it becomes more luxurious. It's nice!

bjer-don

Pleasant. Not wow, not groundbreaking, but pleasant. Office safe, but a bit on the sweet side. My first impression, was that it reminded me of Nina Ricci L'Extase. Probably the raspberry/rose combo. Plus it shares the pear, musk and pink pepper. But I also get hints of what smells like caramel.

I KNEW I should have bought more!!! I got a lot of three bottles of the 3 ounce EDP for 15 dollars plus 3 bucks shipping. The seller had 7 more lots for sale. My head kept telling me it had to be a mistake, to wait until I got mine before buying another lot. Oh well, by the time I got mine, the seller changed the price and it is now 141 dollars for all three. Oh well. My deal is still a good one. For 6 bucks a bottle, I'm not disappointed.

comfortablynumb83

This is a really pretty fragrance. Is it anything new? Not really, but it still can hold its own. the raspberry and rose mixed with suede make this composition flirty. Is sweet, yet a bit fresh from the rose with a musky background. This isn't a boring frag as others have said. It is quite pretty, it's just that there are other scents that are somewhat similar. I still think it is worth owning a bottle.

trabuquera

Just dull ... it might be the lurking presence of my old adversary, the pear, but this one just does nothing for me other than give me a vague whiff of laundry softener and a sense of lingering disappointment. Didn't hate it, but found nothing to love and very little to even like here. I still hanker after a chance to smell the Coach Leather line so might have been hoping, unfairly, for some of that animalic magic to rub off on the generic name-brand EdC. But this scent really *is* just generic - lazily so, too - it's one thing to be inoffensive, but another thing to be uninspiring - and this is the second one. When I think back on it the only reaction I can muster up is a defeated shrug.

Andrina72

Yawn! ... I have to admit that 3/4 of what I love about perfume is the way I feel while wearing it. It needs to match my mood and/or make me feel pretty, sophisticated, sexy.... whatever I feel like that day. So, now that you know where I’m coming from.... I’ll say that this fragrance made me feel NOTHING.

I could’ve been wearing any one of 1500 other fragrances and I’m sure I smelled just like 18 women I encountered that day. It’s just so dull and generic. It says it’s inspired by New York... How? It’s more like a suburb of Salt Lake City.

I won’t go into describing the notes, etc. I’m not good at and it’s been covered here. Let’s just say that if you’re looking for something safe (everyday wear, a gift, etc), then this might be for you. If you’re someone that wants to be moved by a fragrance and/or to feel something while wearing it, this is probably a pass for you.

Yah-el

I'm not a fan of rose, but I like this parfum. I'd call this scent a modern, powdery dollop of rose. I have the parfum and the scent lingers for days on my clothes. When I'm putting my clothes into the washing machine, I get another glorious whiff. It's not my favorite scent, but I like it quite a bit. It's different change-up for me from my collection.

LittleParfumista

An absolute love from the first whiff.

I have been looking very skeptic at it due to notes - rose, pepper, gardenia and raspberry. That all looked so very boring and plain.

But then I smelled it on my manager and could not forget it. I asked her what it was and the next day it was already part of my collection.

Juicy, sparkling fruity floral, so light and playful. Joyful and light, yet memorable.

Safe for daily wear, but also quirky. Love love love.

theuntrainednose

It's not bad, but a bit disappointing. The notes are not well done, too bland and generic. The rose is indistinct, neither dark nor innocent nor romantic, the pear is not juicy enough and the musk is like shampoo.

Wearable but boring.

Missisjoker

The fragrance starts as an amazing fresh flowery smell, with a note of rose and pear and raspberry- just like the notes pyramid says. I fell in love with it from the fist sniff. However, the dry down is very sour on my skin- it seems that after several hours, the rose note overpowers all other notes. So please, try on your skin before you buy.

debbiestar

update: I'm at my second bottle... what to say? more and more in love with it! I also layer it with Coco Mademoiselle and it smells like heaven to me! Amazing...

debbiestar

OMG...what a surprise!
Didn't even know this perfume existed and I just tried it in a shopping center yesterday, just because it was close to me and...boom!
For someone it is generic, not memorable and not unique, for me it was love at first sniff! I'm wearing it today and I absolutely love it! can't stop sniffing myself and this hasn't happened to me in such a long time! I might have CASUALLY found my new signature scent!

maureneka

my daughter bought this for me at Christmas. It wouldn't have been a perfume I would have chosen for myself..... but gradually I have got to like it. I find it quite fresh to start with but it softens out to a powdery warm fruity smell which I find quite addictive....and I use it as a change from my more spicy perfumes...

nerisha86

8Its same scent as valentino donna but its lighter than donna. Great sofisticated sweet scent. love it. And Cheaper.

jayde_x

Sweet, but with a little bit of bite. Could be a good girl, but chooses not to be. Classy but cheeky.

Juicy peach and pear mingle around the bright rose, musk and suede lay softly in the background along with some other nondescript flowers that add body to the fragrance. With pink pepper keeping it interesting and slightly fresh spicy.

Long lasting.
Good sillage but not obnoxious, it makes you want to lean in for a closer sniff.

I LOVE.

MrsClayA

At first I liked it and bought a rollerball. But after the drydown....yuck. My husband said "stale whisky smell". We hate it.

cpharr13

I was given a sample of this at Sephora. Every main accord that fragrantica has listed is spot on. One my skin the rose is the most prominent note and the musk is the last. It's nice. It's a good office scent. Nothing in this perfume stands out though or screams anything. Infact it whispers... "I'm nice" and not in a sugar, spice, everything nice type of way. It's non offensive and I like to offend. I wouldn't buy it but I'd spray on my sample in a pinch if needed.

Red Rose

I tried it about a week ago & forgot about the smell. I think this says a lot. The bottle is gorgeous though.

Hennoa

This perfume smells fine, it's a pretty sweet floral that is really pleasant to wear in spring and summer. The problem is that this fragrance smells a lot like Flower In The Air (Kenzo) but is sweeter, that's making it less interesting.
But it's definitely a safe buy. It's a friendly office fragrance because it's smells nice, polite and it's discreet.

rdickey

This is the ultimate perfume for me. It's everything I want a perfume to be. It is my quintessential perfume.

StarMagix

I really love this fragrance. I find it last a long time on myself and it just gets better as it dries down. I love the raspberry scent and the gardenia mixed together. I have been wanting to add this one to my wardrobe for a long time and I finally found a great deal on a large bottle. The bottle itself is so unique and attractive. Love the gold cap and the fact that it can be locked to avoid leakage.

arefuthescroob

It's a likable perfume, but its sweetness is heavy and kinda generic.

vkmcewen

I got a month's worth of this through a subscription service. It's a pleasant scent, but incredibly poor sillage and longevity. This is barely even a skin scent for me. It begins as a pleasant sweet berry then immediately moves to a soft barely-there powdery cosmetics scent. Not even 15 minutes later I'm re-applying in the hopes that perhaps I just did a poor job the first time. Nope. Instantly gone. It's a lovely faint scent, but certainly not what I'd expect from an EDP. Perhaps I'll spray this on my car upholstery...

rebecatorruella

I got a paper sample of this perfume from a Macy's order before it had launched. I loved it and asked my boyfriend to please purchase it for me. Long story short, we ended up breaking up a few months later and of course, he never purchased it for me (not a surprise). I ordered it that same day and have been wearing it ever since. I really liked the perfume when I first smelled it, but now it has become my ''new me'' scent and for that I love it.

arivera10

Obviously this was designed to be a mass market, crowd-pleaser type of scent, but it doesn't matter because I absolutely adore this fragrance. I don't think I have fallen this hard for a designer fragrance in a while! It's sweet, but not too sweet. I get lots of pear and raspberry in the opening with something else that I--had I not looked it up--wouldn't have known was the pink pepper note. The floral component continues and I mainly get a clean, light, sweet rose. Honestly, I'm not sure what gardenia or cyclamen lend to a scent and therefore cannot say I detect them individually, BUT the rose, like I mentioned, is clean, light, and sweet. Perhaps one of those other florals lends to this scent profile? Anyway, as the perfume dries it smells musky and warm. I do detect suede and musk for sure. Overall, it's a nice blend of sweet and floral notes while also having depth and warmth. Very well balanced! Do give this a test next time you're in a department store.

Arlene-Beatrix

At first it's fruity and floral, but after a while heavy suede, woody and musky base can be smelled. I like it, but it's too strong for me.

rushrocker

This is a great fragrance. Very very balanced and attractive. I really like it!

joiedevivreh

This is neither the heavy, romantic rose that drives Stella, nor the soft, powdery rose that made Chloe into a modern Classic; it is a bright, fruity rose that implies the youth of the wearer. That is not to say only young women can wear this fragrance -- one simply has to have a youthful spirit! Although I cannot pinpoint the exact fruits at the top of this perfume, I will not object with the listed notes of raspberry and pear. Within a few quick hours, this becomes a musky fruity-floral whisper as both sillage and longevity are not fantastic. All in all, a very pleasant, office-friendly fragrance for those who do not wish to stand out in a loud, unique way.

ladyfragantica

I got my hands in this fragrance and it was a keeper imo, I mostly got out of the opening pear, shortly after I got the delicious turkey rose... which lasted about 1 or 2 hours, the base notes are very well blended, cannot detect for now the distinctive note however lovely rose scent, not the most unique but for a rose junkie a keeper.

staceydtb

It's a pretty scent, and I like that it's not too heavy, unlike other rose-based scents I've come across. It's lovely but lacks uniqueness, which is why I understand other people saying there's nothing special about it.

If you love rose scents, you might like this because you'll find that this isn't an old lady fragrance like many rose scents. It's a bit young and modern, which seems to be Coach's target market, with Chloe Grace-Moretz being the face of their campaign.

I have a sensitive nose, and it didn't make me dizzy, so that's a good thing.

ScarlettX

At first spray, it's too strong for my nose. It is overall too sweet for my taste and a little bit cloying.
Needs to be sprayed carefully.
Soapy smelling, like rose soap.
I'm not too impressed with it, I think I wouldn't buy it, but I still might finish up my sample that I have.
Rose, musk and raspberry are the main notes.

genny17

If you are looking for a pretty rose scent, you would enjoy Coach the fragrance,l.it is a musky rose scent, starts fresh, light, the rasberry appears quickly, makes a fast exit too, then the Turkish rose gets amplified, and it is from then on all about the rose!! I don't really get much sandalwood or suede musk , the rose dominates. I must say I had expected more originality, thought it would have a different mix of floral notes, maybe more grandiose also..this has decent longevity, but is overall rather soft, reminds me very much of Nina Ricci l' Extase...it smells lovely, but it is for my taste too much about the rose...I expected different..still, it is nice to wear, but nothing outstanding.
Update; in cooler weather, I find the base seems to come alive and the suede warms up nicely..in a way, this is like really soft and pretty to wear..liking it more and more !!

Fluffyandpuffy

It is a lovely rose based perfume. Smells classy, grown up and very nice but nothing that unusual. I have smelled this type of scent before maybe perhaps an Estée Lauder perfume. Similar and familiar scent.

Germany

Delightful ! Sweet fruity and musky. Rose dominant and fresh ,slightly soapy with a pleasant woody drydown. I find this quite classy and elegant. It's a typical "pink smell "to my nose. One I love on others but sort of can't wear myself.
I find it similar to the new miss Dior , or at least reminds me of it. Sometimes floral perfumes like this can turn sharp to my nose , I prefer warm and creamy or fresh scents ,once too much Rose it gets to pink for me.
This is a well made perfume , love the bottle as well and could smell the card forever. Once ON me it's like wearing someone else's perfume if that makes sense. It doesn't feel comfortable.

In addition I do not smell the suede , nor is this perfume weak , and the bottle with the buggy is great!!!

rufflesbows

This is lovely! BUT, it's as weak as Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet. This would be on my wish list if it lasted longer than 30 minutes. I am officially waiting for the 'intense' version.

wilough

This perfume smells beautiful I'm in love with it at the moment.

polkadot27

Update: It's just too weak I have sprayed on my clothes, skin and a tester strip and it is just so weak. I honestly cannot detect this stuff. I am vastly dissapointed. The notes seemed lovely. I smell nothing, literally nothing. Dissapointed.

KarlekLila

I received a small tester at the mall yesterday. This juice sounded so appealing and the bottle is absolutely lovely. I sprayed my wrists and neck liberally this morning. I was greeted by a lightly sweet, sparkling, raspberry-rose scent. It ultimately dries to a soft, musky, suede. Lovely, feminine, but not worth the high price imho. Longevity lasts about 4 hours from top notes to dry down. Sillage? Skin scent. I do love the scent while it lasts but will not be purchasing a bottle unless I can get it at significant discount on ebay in a year or two.

BeguilingBeauty

I was really excited about this launch but I think I'm ultimately let down. I guess notes on a page don't always translate into an olfactory win. It sounded amazing, the bottle is beyond gorgeous with a lovely heft to it but not ridiculously heavy. Just very appealing packaging. But the fragrance itself lacks projection and what I do smell I feel smells strange. It's "nice" but not for this price point for me. I wanted to love it but I'm disappointed. I think maybe it's the pear that makes it smell strange on me. It smells nice but not nice enough for me to plop down over $100 counting tax on it. I pre-ordered it and then had a chance to smell it before it arrived and immediately knew I shouldn't have pre-ordered it. So back it goes. Unopened thankfully. For some reason it kind of reminds me of a Katy Perry perfume. A better quality but still in that sweet, slightly odd way. I'm usually better about describing scents. I can't place what about this smells off on me. If I were rating this on a percentage scale with 100% being best and 0 being worst, I'd give this a 70%. So it's not bad by any means, it's just not quite good enough for me to want to spend full price on it. I agree with the reviewer who mentioned they'd buy a rollerball. I think I'd feel comfortable with that too. I would get a rollerball if it was available and have several months to toy around with the fragrance in different weather and come to a more well rounded opinion of it. But yeah, going back. I'm more interested in Burberry Black and the new Si Intense eau de parfum this season.

polkadot27

Raspberry pear rose musk and suede... This sounds like my fantasy perfume. However I tried it yesterday in debenhams and I couldn't even identify any sort of scent on my skin. It was weak and did not project at all. Upon rubbing my nose into my wrist all I could detect was a faint floral sandalwood scent. I was vastly dissapointed. However I do love the sound of the notes so I will try this fragrance again and do an update because all the notes suggest I should love it!

DarlingNikki

This one is quite sour on my skin for some reason (the pear I believe), but it's an intriguing sourness rather than repelling. It didn't grab me right out of the gate (came across bland and watery on first spray), but as it dries down it changes for the better in my opinion, sour note and all. If a rollerball/spray pen version of this comes out (and I think one will eventually) I'll more than likely buy it, but it's not on my must have list as of yet.

UPDATE: I tried this one again on a whim and that chemically sweet sour combination was overwhelmingly obvious (I sprayed more than I did the first time). Definitely not something I'm into, but I'm hopeful that the new EDT might have less pronounced sour/sweet notes in it...

antonpan

That's a typical modern ethylmaltol fragrance in the lines of Lancome La Vie est Belle, berries + praline. Could easily be the softer flanker of La Vie est Belle.

lizzyshreds

I did a review of this perfume on Youtube.

Edemay

Finally got to try it! Nice but i was disappointed, as this smells more like a celebrity scent aimed at tweens.

OlfactoryLover

I don't know why but I am getting similarities with Valentino Donna/La vie est belle? I can smell Iris even though it isn't listed. Perhaps the rose, pear and suede note are giving off this effect. I really like this fragrance!

Siv7Stars

I never like very obvious pear notes, I always find them synthetic, however the pear in this one is a bit sneaky and hides in the raspberry and redeems itself a bit. The suede makes it an oddly rich fruity floral, and the pepper makes it lively. It seems to mostly stay the same, which I personally really like in a fragrance, I don't see it as a criticism. So often I'm disappointed by perfumes that drift here and there while drying down and the first blast, which was great, loves you and leaves you in five minutes. Here what you smell is what you get, no surprises, although the cashmeran maybe gets a bit more obvious and overall it starts to feel soapy.

MysticRose

This is an inoffensive fruity fragrance: I can definitely detect the pear - it's nice, ripe and juicy - the dry-down is floral and musky but overall the scent is just uninterestingly linear and generic.
