One spray goes a very long way, I think this is a very particular smell. Not for everyone since at first it's intensely citrusy, I'd say too over powering and when it dries down it's borderline detergent smell for a while, when fully dry it's much better. Like a fresh linen candle scent. I personally prefer Jadore l'or over this one, I might take some time to get used to since I'm more of a musk kind of person than a white floral. I wouldn't wear this in winter as it's very much of a summer scent. If you love a strong white floral, you'd like this! get a sample and give it a go.

The13thHour

I prefer this version of J'adore over the EDP version. This is a great everyday fresh guilty pleasure fragrance.

NurseElle

Can anyone help? I absolutely LOVE my 2014 eau de toilette and need to repurchase.. is the newer (previously Lumiere) EDT similar? I don't think I can find my original anyway now..

J’Adore EDT is such a lovely light scent!! When I smell it, I imagine a sunny spring/summer day in a garden.
This fragrance is a bit sharp at first, but dries down fast to a delicate and graceful floral scent with a hint of citrus.
A bit later I can also definitely get that woodsy note in the background.
All of these notes blend together nicely into a well-made elegant fragrance.
Perfect for the spring and summer seasons!

Dhits77

The floral and woody notes in this EDT are well blended. The scent appears sharp at first but at the dry down, the musc comes through and it becomes a well balanced clean feminine scent that is quite pleasant. It is therefore safe as a blind buy or for gifting.

This is often classed as summer or spring fragrance but for some reason it shines through in colder weather and evenings. Certainly for family friendly evening ocassions this could be a great choice and perhaps formal events, too. Sillage is decent and staying power is amazing for an EDT.

Final remarks is that if you want a floral scent with personality, this is not it. The J’adore DNA is present throughout, which adds to elegance and initially turn heads, but it lacks uniqueness. After a couple of hours, you just smell of expensive soap and it does not turn heads anymore. But again, it is a safe bet for most ocassions and certainly one to have in a collection of clean florals.

It reads as very heavy on the jasmine, rose, and woody notes on my skin. The flowers don’t feel very natural and seem quite sharp, harsh, almost synthetic. Very well blended, hard to identify individual notes. Something about the combination of these notes reads as bug spray on my skin-I noticed this with another scent with the same notes recently. This EDT starts out very strong, overpowering almost. It dries down very fast. 15 minutes later it’s a skin scent. Seems like it would completely vanish around the 2-3 hr mark. I’m currently at 30 minutes and can barely read it. Reminds me of Gucci Bloom Ambrosia do Fiori flanker, but I like the Gucci one a lot more. This one feels like a vintage, less realistic and pretty perfume version of a scent like Bloom Ambrosia.

Oh, how I love wearing this in the winter. Makes me think of the sparkling crystals of snowflakes. The florals in this scent really shine at this time of year. It also lasts all day with beautiful trailing silage. As I mentioned before on the Lumiere review page, the Eau de Toilette is now the Lumiere scent. The change in name was a big mistake, IMO, as this really is a luminous scent that perfectly fits the original name. There were two prior formulations of the Eau de Toilette before Dior decided to use the formula of Lumiere for J'Adore Eau de Toilette 2020. The original version in 2002, and the first reformulation in 2011. I haven't had the opportunity to try the original or first reformulation, but I can assure you that what is selling now is the Lumiere scent as I have both the original Lumiere and a bottle of 2020 Eau de Toilette. It is exactly the same scent and just as stunning as Lumiere.

Fragrantica really needs to update the information on this fragrance to reflect the change.

Smooth clean jasmine shampoo with bananas.

I can smell white flowers only. Mainly neroli and jasmine, a bit of tuberose. The fragrance disappears before the base layer unveils. The EDP has a better staying power.

It is a very pretty, inoffensive, and unique fragrance, very calming and comforting, but you don't get the value for the money unfortunately.

MayaBehati

Wearing this feels like chewing on a very old piece of sweet chewing gum, one that you perhaps chewed a few days ago and then left under a school bench.. only to get reacquainted with it today.

I can actually vividly sense that scenario from this edt version. Here, there is basically only some weak ylang ylang and the smell of pencil shavings (there is probably some Iso E Super present) maybe even something metallic, but not in a cool anorganic way... it smells of a metal sharpener that has been tossing and turning in a teenagers backpack for far too long.

I actually like that smell, but here it feels accidental and the general composition is much too weak to bother.

I am not saying that this scent is for school goers, nobody needs this fragrance.

I will admit that I do like the idea I get from it (old sweet chewing gum stuck inside the pencil sharpener)... but I can't accept it because I doubt there was any intentionality for it behind this edt version od J'adore.

Kateri81

I almost forgot, how amazing this one smells. Flowers, citruses a (laundry detergent) musk. Soft, pure and clean. It even made an impression on my younger son (he's five), who asked me, if I am wearing a new perfume. He never comments on my perfumes. I know, it's mainstream, but very very beautiful mainstream. I truly love it.

Edit: My older son and my husband love it too. So it is a win-win-win-win situation :) that had never happened before. And I love it even more.

BrunetteDoll

My signature! It's just how I wanna smell and what kind of impression I want to leave on people in every day settings.

Put together, a woman who knows her boundaries, but she's still very kind and feminine.... with a private sexy side.
Weirdly..It's kinda motherly to me as well. You know that woman or a young girl that's just naturally good with kids and they love her. Just has this womanly safety to her. Don't necessarily has to have her own children. And I might just have this association because my mom used to love this.
She had 80s version. Different than this but has the same spirit.

Your man will keep bearing his nose to your hair and neck.

Fruits and flowers blended together to perfection.

stephdray

Oooh I really loved this sunshine scent when I put it on this morning. It was oranges and flowers and cheerfulness. Then a cool juicy melon and acquatic note That somehow blended perfectly with the florals. Not a note out of place. I couldn’t get enough of sniffing my arm.

But I kinda had to sniff my arm because the sillage was so poor. It did last all day. And was so pleasant. But it wasn’t strong enough for me. More like a bath splash than a perfume. I am intrigued enough, however, to look for a more concentrated version like the EDP.

AnlisaC

Love for summer. Like reviewer below haven’t worn this in a while and today I put this on in humid 87 degree weather. This gives off a fruity floral scent. Sillage very good it keeps lingering up and my friend asked what I was wearing. Longevity for summer humidity excellent, most disappear in summer ( some of my niche brands are bad in summer). The EDT is beautiful, great daytime wedding, party, shower date night fragrance for summer.

minnicikim

I love, no I adore this more than EDP. EDP version is more floral, it's heavy on floral especially jasmine and white flowers. EDT is more bergamot-y, more fruity and lighter. It's a real joy wearing it.

When I sniffed first, I was really young age. When I closed my eyes, I dreamed myself in a wedding gown wearing this perfume. Years later, it was a gift from my hubby's mom before the wedding. It was almost a dream came true. On the wedding day, I forgot to wear my dream perfume- actually any kind of perfume- because of all the fuss and everything. Plus, it came my mind one week later after the wedding :,(

Majda16

After not wearing it for a long time, I've sprayed it again today and it seems I have forgotten how much I love this. For me, this is how an elegant, kind and well dressed woman smells. The most prominent notes in J'adore EDT are white flowers (jasmine) and fruity notes. This is a perfect special occasion perfume. It also has a decent staying power, and silage is moderate. It reminds me of spring, and I mostly wear it in spring, sometimes in autumn. It's just amazing. One of my favorites.

Minty Mouth

Fragrantica needs to update their database to indicate that this is discontinued. What is currently being sold as J'adore Eau de Toilette is actually listed as the Lumiere flanker on fragrantica. This 2011 version was stealthily eliminated and replaced by Dior.

As a result I guess many of the more recent reviews on this page belong on the Lumiere page.

minimalist

is it you (Chanel) Gabrielle? did you sneak into a different bottle?

AnitaHendricks

Fresh oranges, woodsy basenotes and sensual and strong smelling florals in the middle. This is a great perfume during summer and spring! It's very elegant and lovely when you like jasmin and ylang-ylang with a sophisticated twist.

scentimentalbeing

If something is mainstream, I am not usually inclined to try it. BUT when I found this one for sale, I fell for the beauutiful bottle and blind bought it. Surprise! I actually love it! It's definitely not too sweet/cloying (like a lot of mainstream fragrances are), and it actually doesn't smell too generic (forgettable floral).

To me, this smells like honeyed jasmine (I was surprised that honey isn't listed as a note). It's a clean but opulent jasmine, and the scent is simple but memorable. This makes me think of tree nymphs picking flowers in a green meadow! Tinkling, breezy, sparkling, and sunny.

This is an EDT, but the sillage and longevity are pretty impressive.

Would wear to: picnic, date, school/work, sleepover, tea party.

jumblecupcake

Smells like makeup,makeup!

raiza1990

A clean rose + white floral. Very faint and generic. There are more remarkable versions of this that are also cheaper.
Sillage and longevity are unworthy of comments.

polkadot27

I tried this one after trying the 2016 new edition which I really enjoyed. Unfortunately I do not like this one half as much as I like the 2016 one. This is nice but is too safe and a little boring for me I get ylang ylang and jasmine with some slight citrus undertones in the background. It is perhaps too safe a scent for me to appreciate it is non-threatening and lacks that little spark. I am afraid I just find it rather forgettable- on the plus side it is a safe option no one would dislike this fragrance, though some, myself included might find it boring.

Scent= 3.5/10 sorry it bores me
Silage= 6/10
Lasting power= 6/10
Bottle= 5/10

I was on the hunt for another perfume (not like I need one but needs and wants are two different things) and I stumbled across the J'adore Eau de Parfum. It was love at first spray, but eventually I felt it leaned too warm and strong for my taste/nose. I decided to check out the Eau de Toilette and fell in deep, long-lasting love. It's cleaner and fresher than the EDP and therefore more wearable in my opinion. Even then, it's a warmer fragrance than I usually like (with Chanel No. 19 being my signature), but it is truly gorgeous and will be a staple of mine for years to come.

cocoethermes

Citrus pairs flawlessly with the bouquet of white flowers. Definitely prefer this over the original any day. I had to return the original because the pear note was extremely nauseating to me. Lasting power is questionable on both.

amywamywoo

Shampoo like, bright floral.
Bit sharp for me.
Pass.

Peachysugarbuns

I found J'adore EDP to be sort of flat, but this EDT version has a citrusy lift to the composition that enhances the white florals in a vibrant way. I can absolutely sense a difference between the two concentrations on my skin - I prefer the EDT by a landslide.

The citrus notes in J'adore EDT join the classic rose and jasmine notes seamlessly. The orange flower, ylang and tuberose never cross into the "heady" territory and, though their aromatic combination is distinct, they're smoothly balanced as well. This is one of those scents that "just smell good" to many people.

J'adore EDT is versatile enough to provide pleasant energy to a person running errands or offer charming sparkle to the evening cocktail party. I can understand why it is so popular! I wore J'adore EDT for New Year's Eve 2013 and again on NYE 2014 because its "golden" aura fit with my festive outfits and its modern/classic scent was a perfect accompaniment to the feelings of anticipation of a new year and new possibilities. Good stuff, the EDT is! :)

ana hen

Love it with all my heart.its my winter fragrance.

Save M

i've been using this beauty for years, and finished 2 bottles.
I really love it because it's fresh and womanly at the same time. A good choise for any occations, ages and seasons. I much prefer this one rather than the eau de parfum for its crisp vibe, which I find more versatile than the deeper fruity richness of J'adore edp. Classic and modern at the same time, it's never boring, and a safe choise when I don't know which parfum to choose from my collection. I think citruses, white flowers and vanilla are perfect and well blended in this amazing fragrance, and none of them is prevaling. Sillage and lasting power are proper for an edt.

Charming!

Delila

It's hard to pinpoint the notes in this. One might say that it's classically 'perfumey' rather than distinctly fruity or floral, etc. OK, perhaps there's citrus, but it's sharp and short-lived, so not relevant for long. To my nose J'adore EDT has some class, and is most suitable for evening wear.

It has medium sillage on me. Longevity is also medium, but with a distinct pattern: Intensity drops off rather too quickly, after just a couple of hours, but then it has a very long, low residual which is quite pleasant up close on the skin. It's like a sweet, subtle olfactory stain that lasts 24 hours or more.

I think J'Adore has no major flaws and, whilst it may not stop people in the street, it's nice enough to keep and to wear, especially for the drydown.

TakaBeata

This J'adore EDT id more woody and floral. EDP is more Fruity -Floral :) . Scent Elegant but not heavy. Luxurious.
I love J'adore :)

moonprismpower

very refreshing and happy, excellent for spring and summer. smells like expensive shampoo. i like this better than the EDP due to the lack of melon. lasts decently and has good sillage for a modern dior EDT.

energia

I love gourmands, don't get me wrong, I have and love many of them, but how great it is to relax from them from time to time and wear something so elegant. This perfume has pure elegance in it, it is so beautiful. Sometimes I forget how much I love it.

victoria.mei1992

It smells like body lotion, I think ylang ylang gives that feeling, it's like a little bit creamy. It's obviously not fresh, what I expected. Close to the skin. Didn't impress me.

genny17

J' Adore EDP is too floral for me, too sharp, but EDT is more gentle, sweeter also in a way...I find it stylish. Classy, and very feminine!!! It is a best seller in France, I think it is the most sold perfume, yes it is very french, very nicely constructed , rich, beautiful...
The epitome of what french women like to smell like..
Lovely..worth its price!!! And very good longevity...

Didokitty

At first very fresh and classy, then generic and boring. Weak staying power.

mschen

I have both J'adore EDP and EDT, and i like EDT more because it brings a fresher scent i guess due to the citrus. For me there are personal reason that this scent reminds me my ex-lover...

I did not like most of Dior's fragrances i tried, such as Poison and Dune. For me those are like Channel No.5, too powdery and strong. This one has changed my impression toward Dior.

Kharnak Rex

very likeable. if Chanel No. 5 is too funky for you, this is a much brighter, gentler, but very complex white floral. very cheery and bright i say. Lots of Neroli Rose YlangYlang. they tend to be very domineering in women's high end perfumes.

SillagE: huge!
Longevity: pretty good
***
Fun Fact: here at Macy's.... we get the samples to fill... they arrive to us in 5 gallon plastic drums.

JaxTheMinx

I am not sure whether the remarks about the similarity of Benetton Giallo are based on the EDT or the EDP. However, I tested the theory this evening with my 10 yo daughter. Initially, on first spray, J'Adore EDT is much more complex and rich. Then once it all settles, Giallo's alcohol base tones down and J'Adore EDT just evens out - they are pretty much one and the same thing. I realise Giallo has no sillage in comparison. How sad, especially at that price! :) My little daughter initially said that CD J'Adore smells like old people/death (a bit dramatic, I agree) whereas Giallo was lovely to her from the outset. She's officially swiped one of my bottles of Giallo... *sigh*

VintageViolet_

Warm, sweet & floral. Nice but nothing to write home about.

SeleneHdez

suhaesa

surprisingly i almost liked it..i tried it in 2000 gave mine away there was no way i would use it it was too much of a floral explosion and gave me headaches...it was edp..now i am reviewing the edt could it be the 13 year gap could it be that i have changed?!could it be that its the edt factor ..i think its the newer formulation and the edt ..strange as it might sound this jador is a better reformulation..
when i first applied it it smelled fresh soapy clean floral y and a bit creamy ..deep mellow..sensual..a hint powdery..peachy..beautiful..
when it dries down i get the old dajavou..of the heavier white florals..yet it s a wonderful perfume especially for those who love florals..and white florals in particular..
the initial sprays are so powerfull..so intesnse so mesmerising..but it doesnt last as long as i thought half an houre and the 3 sprays have almost vanished from my wrists..
pungant almost green but not uterly citrucy yes maybe manderiny..neroli african orange flower ..jasmine neroli ylang yalang..woodsy notes white woods..a hint of vanila..its a clean soapy aldehidic white floral infusion of bright full damascus rose and italian madnadrin escence with nerloi ..to my nose its a bit musky and i think it could be a bridal perfume...

Buddhagirl

This is my signature scent.

lara.suzin

pickletastic

MissK's review below says everything I would have done so please see below - this is indeed far fresher than the EDP which genuinely felt as if someone had shoved a bouquet of slightly gone-over white flowers doused in a melon-heavy fruit cordial up my nose and left it there. The drydown was bearable but I'm not sure how much of that was just my brain surrendering a kind of olfactory Stockholm Syndrome if you will. I LIKE strong scents but this was a refined assault - not in a painful, throat-catching way, just like being pitched into a pool of berry and melon-flavoured garlands some of which you inhale before emerging.

I digress - the EDT, by contrast, is flowery, fresh, classy and non-invasive. I wish I got the jasmine and african orange blossom as much as lucky MissK but this is certainly going on a my list as a nice, non-offensive but refined floral for formal occasions, as I can't cope with the traditional aldehydes or botanical musks that often are deemed appropriate for such times. I must be honest though and say that I don't perceive the individual 'essences' as listed by Dior of Italian Mandarin, Damascus Rose and Neroli, but I suppose by terming them 'essences' rather than 'extraits' Dior has left itself plenty of wriggle-room for individual interpretation of the blousy white floral bouquet it actually smells of to me. The vanilla listed above is personally undetectable, but I have been wearing Alien Absolue recently so perhaps I've become desensitised to all but the most potent featuring of the pod?

nellyrlight

just beautiful! my sister bought me one first..then I got hooked! elegant, warm, sensuous scent

HUEbris

It's an young J'adore. this is more fresh, and more non-white floral scent.

Skye Wortley

Amazing perfume! It's a bright and feminine composition, a wonderful EDT! I can smell a lot of citruses and jasmine, also a bit of tuberose and ylang-ylang. A fresh, feminine and light fragrance. Perfect for spring and is a daytime perfume. It's a very velvety and luxurious fragrance, but lighter than the EDP! Still a very nice fragrance, a great j'adore variation! Love it! :)

RoRoSe

I have a sample ,, too much tuberose ,, and the quality is good for an EDT .. but nothing new or interesting ..

Toom_Snoopy

I could say the J'adore series are really different.
J'adore EDP, J'adore l'or, J'adore l'absolu (the newest in 2012) and this one EDT do not smell the same, however they share the classy scent. This EDT is the most wearable imo. It's like cool flowers with a hint of citrus. Fresh and perfect for summer and the scent is not complex compared with the previous J'adore.

missk

I'm stretching my mind back to an unfortunate testing of the original J'Adore EDT back in 2009. I am happy to say that this 2011 reformulation has improved the composition by a mile. No sharp and unfriendly citrus notes to be found in this version, thank goodness!

J'Adore EDT is a tad fresher and more floral than the EDP. It's also less thick and better suited to casual wear.

The J'adore series is not my personal favourite from Dior, however since testing J'Adore EDT and J'Adore L'Or, my affection seems to be growing. This fragrance has a beautiful, feminine feel, which is quite inoffensive and easy to wear.

The opening is fresh and invigorating, like a glass of cold lemonade, with a hint of dewy, white florals underneath. Jasmine and african orange blossom appear to be the most dominant notes on my skin, followed by a smooth drydown of creamy white woods.

It's quite a grown-up scent, something to suit those refined and elegant ladies. Despite being classified as a floral, it still has a slight fruity and citrusy feel, which places J'Adore EDT in the fruity floral genre for me.

The sillage is moderate to strong, with the lasting strength being rather impressive. Amongst all of the current Dior reformulations, this is by far their best, and is perhaps the only reformulation Dior should have ever considered doing.

beauty00

i love this fragrance, it stands out for me,smells soo soft, feminine loveee itttt:)))

Marta Hykyšová

Nové EDT Jadore Má krabíčku ze zlatým kroužkem a voňavka má růžovou barvu , voní odlišně.Je sladší ,ovocná.Nová se mi líbí ,ta starší ne.

shalimar78

how we are supposed to know the difference between the 1st and 2nd versions, specially if we purchase parfums online? I want so bad this 2nd version but in the parfum store no one could tell me for sure if it was one or another... is there some difference in the box or the bottle?

callalotus

Got it from Brussels airport.love it so much... I just wear it in special occasions. the thing that I confuse is I got it since 2009! I though it was the other edt but this one has golden colour and smell like described here. very very confuse but I like it better than the edp.
hi,does anyone knew which countries sell the golden edt? in UAE the edt has clear colour with white box (the old edt) and different smell. In my country, singapore or japan it has the same box but it has clear colour.i spesifically bring my old bottle and it's totally different!

And just found out that my old j'adore edt is
J'Adore Eau De Toilette Spray 75ml/2.5oz F061523709
Confidence and sensuality
With the blend of Mandarin, Champaca Flowers, Jasmine, Ivy, African Orchid, Rose, Ylang-ylang, Violet, Damascus Plum, Amaranth Wood and Blackberry Musk notes

After so many fuss looking for my edt I got it again from Belgium, the new golden edt..F061523209, the one listed here. it's turn out my old one is not exist anymore and might only sold in selected area... The old one more vibrante in my skin than the new one.. it's different vibe...At begining and at the end of wearing it these two smell different, but somewhere in middle (say 2hours after) they smell alike. i love both, but i'll save my old one as long as i can since i can't smell it anywhere anymore. it's really confidence and sensual

tinaelisa

This smells so great! I used to own the eau de parfum, but actually like this eau de toilette better. It is a bit more on the fresh and fruity side than the edp.
I got the hair mist form the J'adore line recently and been loving that one also. It is not that strong, but stays in your hair a long time. It is a very sensual way to wear a perfume :) !

Michaelia531

Love it soooooo much, this is the new edition of EDT, better than the original EDT. Very refresh . top note is mandrine and then it comes to jasmine. perfect combination. I have hundreds of perfumes. this one is definitely my favourate one.

purpleunicorn

I really do like this perfume. It smells very classy and lovely. It's ladylike. I do find, however, that it is a VERY common perfume. I don't mean that many other perfumes smell like this (though I'm sure there are some similar ones out there), but I mean that a lot of people own and use this perfume. It's not necessarily a bad thing, and I don't mind it really, but for those of you who might want to use a scent that's a little bit "different", you might want to stay away from this.

TakaBeata

It is very elegant scent. It becomes in the memory , is full of flowers but does not excite me. flowers, citruses and the balmy note. Mega full feminine.
I love EDT.

loonad

i yearned for this one for 2 years-finally got it in february and i am loving it.very good for Mauritian summer-on light summer days when the heat is mild.

pum.ohse

Better than the Edp and the original but dont convince me.

SeleneHdez

yoyo_0529

I just bought this EDT recently (couple days ago to be exact) I am in love straightaway with the Tuberose.
At the beginning this bottle was just an in-flight duty free blind buy out of boredom waiting to land.
I got it, opened it and sprayed it, at first I didn't notice much fragrance out of it except for Ylang Ylang (which I don't mind at all).
Little did I know that after I landed, I saw the girls who were sitting behind me were rushing to duty free perfume section to buy 2 bottles of this EDT 100ml (the one which I bought is 50ml).
I got a little curious on why they suddenly like it...
So when I arrived hotel, I sprayed on my clothes and on my skin. After awhile, I could smell tuberose and rose in the room from my shirt. Whilst on my skin I notice much of Ylang Ylang, Citrus and Woodsy notes.
I wore the shirt and sprayed some on my skin again, men praised the smell and they didn't notice much but they just said "something smell good here" and yet it lingers for quite sometime. Funny as I walked through the garden (and it was winter in Taiwan) a male friend next to me mentioned that he smell somekind of flower and it smells good.
I guess sillage was quite good. Not as long as I expect out of that price of a perfume.
I am putting this EDt as one of my loved and favourite!

pomdgf

This is a truly classic that fragrance lover should have in the wardrobe. No matter what which version. Very feminine, fresh and younger than the original. The truth is I adore first version but this one I just can't deny too! Love citruses at first but after dry down seduces me! Can't let it go. Perfect for a date and workweek.

Profumata

Smells quite nice, feminine and fresh. I use this for daytime. Unfortunately, the scent doesn't last nearly as long as it should. It disappears in less than one hour, which is a serious downside. As the perfume is not exactly cheap either, I feel a bit disappointed that it should have such poor lasting power.

I had tried the J'adore EDP several times wanting to like it, but couldn't get over a strange sourness that seemed to overpower an otherwise beautiful fragrance. The J'adore EDT absolutely reminds me of the EDP, but isn't the same. It is lighter and more floral, but not a complete and total departure from the EDP. For me, it's a gentler, more airy version without the weird sour note I get from the EDP. I'm excited to use this for the spring and summer!

i love this, and my boyfriend does. it has nothing to do with jadore edp version (witch i don't like). it'a a classy, tottaly feminine white flower perfume, with quite good staying power as an edt

I smelled this compared to the eau de parfum, and they smell totally different! This one is much lighter and pleasant, whereas the parfum is much stronger and headache-inducing. But back to the difference in the actual smell... why would 2 perfumes with the same name (J'adore) by the same company (Dior) smell differnt?? I mean I understand that the parfum would naturally be stronger than toilette, but it distinctly shows here that they conatin differnt notes and fragrances. Weird. Well anyway, don't smell this stuff, like it, and then by the eau de parfum thinking it will last longer on your skin... because the eau de parfum is a completely different fragrance.

The top notes are gorgeous on this perfume but it then settles into the weirdest jasmine. Dont get me wrong, I love jasmine, I used to wear a jasmine soliflore from l' occitane, for years, to bed until it sadly got discontinued. The jasmine in J Adore settles into a cloying scent similar to EL's Beyond Paradise. I dont dislike this and will wear it once in a while but not for more than 2 hours.

To me one of the best fragrances out there, if not the best. An instant classic! The mixture of Jasmine and Ylang-Ylang is the one that comes out the most on my skin. If I didnt love so many different fragrances, this would be my signature scent.

Habanita

I had a sample of this just recently. It has a classic touch to it but also something soapy flowery. All in all it was hardly discernible on me and had weak staying power, so it didn't interest me much anymore.

DresdenDoll

This is a very strong soapy jasmine on me, with hints of almost aquatic citrus notes and a bit of a tuberose edge. Quite a fresh scent, but still a bit too showy I think for just every day wear. This is for like a garden party at a beach house or an event on a yacht.I have to say, I like the EDP better, it feels more well rounded than this one.

I´m soooo in love with this one. It starts a bit strong...but the drydown is perfect, lovely, clean...hmmmm

LadyNatalie

Divinee, love it! Fresh, clean beautiful, this one has to be one of the best summer-spring fragrances!

the undertone its lilly of the valley absolutly,it is very very nice smell , the opening its more citrus then the original jadore wich its my signature fragrance, any way its dior its the best but its more citrus and frecher then the original parfum!9/10.

LaPetite

Ok NOW i've tried it ! It's just a fresher lighter version of J'adore EDP , that was predictable .
As i complained about the endless versions of "Comme Une Evidence" here it's the same , it's just useless, it brings nothing more than the original .
Please add a "d'ont care" button ! We really need it for this kind of case !
