refreshing! When weather is really way too warm then I reach for this. Smells like lemons, nothing else. Feels refreshing.

iman.sallam.9

This perfume is right up my alley. I tried it at Marshall's today and I absolutely loved it.
Yes, the opening was straight up citrus, but it eventually became woody/floral.
Definitely to be worn in spring/summer months.
The dry down reminded me a lot with Lancome Miracle mixed with Langley by Ted Baker.
Full bottle worthy for me.

Bubbles1964

I’m not happy. The opening is unbearable; the complete opposite of fresh lemons. I’m not sure what else I’m picking up, but it’s not from Mother Nature.

KP1111

I don’t hate it. It’s just Smelling no complexity at all. It smells like lemons. Like the whole lemon. Lemon Peel lemon pith And actual lemon juice there’s something sweet in there but I think maybe it’s just more lemon? Lol maybe this will get more complex as it ages right now if you love lemons, this is the perfume for you.
I’ll probably end up updating this but for now I’m coming up lemons

Rickie-Refractory

Harsh. If Light Blue is a lemon hiss, this is a lemon screech at top volume. Smells like the type of cleaning product you'd ask your workplace's janitorial staff to stop using.

ttsib

I love citric fragrances and this one with its sweet twist is super pleasing and a very good allrounder. Not too "funky", hence fince also for the office.

sibaraa

This is an acquired taste in citrus. Lemon mint fragrance that's a bit sweet. So beautiful and refreshing for humid days.

Ismellthereforiam

Finally opened my bottle bought at a discounted price at tkmaxx. It is a very well done citrusy smell with freshness and depth. Feels herbal. Reminds me of Clinique Happy and Miller Harris Citron Citron. Easy, classy, pick me up in the morning fragrance. No regrets. Has a nice and comforting dry down to my nose. Then, tamed Himiko by s-perfumes comes to my mind…it must be the mango. Nice work.

The drydown feels woody and a bit spicy. I’m enjoying it.

maltatude

This is a lovely soft, elegant fruity citrus. If Light Blue and Yellow Diamond were to join forces and be more airy and a tiny bit ozonic and fruity. This is the eau de toilette child. It’s not overpowering and will sit on the skin and feels light and elegant.. I prefer this over the other two. It’s quite lovely

vox populi

this is a natural winner, the lemon, bergamot, ginger, orange are all there on the initial burst, then the mango and mint come into play.i personalty like lemon citrus style scents. i find this one clean and refreshing.for the price you will not go wrong buying it. so would i buy it again ? yes. the presentation is excellent. this is not really sweet, but has a very charging fresh scent. i think you could wear this in the dead of winter to bring back those spring/summertime scents.it is not a scent for attracting the opposite sex. just a smell good scent.it plays out good for either sex to wear.

brandiwine1980

When you first spray it, lemon pine sol or some kind of lemon cleaner. I really didn’t care for it and wanted to wash it off, but the woody dry down with a hint of mint is nice, but this only lasts about an hour so you’d have to over spray. I wouldn’t buy a bottle because the opening is not pleasant.

gabri

I tested it and to me it didn't smell like lemon whatsoever...Not sure what it smells like.Strange fragrance.

Avarie

Found this on a whim as a lemon scent for an ever-looming spring is so hard for me to find. For once, she is a good find. Fizzy, happy lemonade and zest on a vernal knoll transform into lemon drop candies ("Lemonheads") because of the mango undertone. A more tangy, less aquatic I Love Love or Light Blue. There's something almost vintage about it too. Perhaps because it doesn't smell watery-sweet, it seems to skew more old-fashioned for some people. I believe it is that orange blossom that gives it an undercurrent of nostalgia, like baby powder and doll's dresses. But never going overly floral, do trust that lemon is the star of the show.

I do wish the mint or cucumber stuck out just a bit more, to make it more refreshing. Regardless, I find it to be a sublimely sunny, femme take on lemon, bright and unique. I'm sure the sensory experience will match better with the return of our warmer days.

Lilium86

I imagined something really sweet, I really like the sugary lemon note as in O d'Azur, but here I smell a strong mix of very balsamic candy and mosquito repellent spray. Maybe it will work better in the summer, but for now, very disappointed. The bottle, on the other hand, is beautiful, it looks like a gem. The cap is heavy and of quality.

Yalishanxiao

This lemon is not fresh but a kind of cooked lemon. For the summer is not fresh enough. Quite a strange scent. Don’t recommend this even it’s very cheap.

Skinscents4Fusspots

This is only worth wearing in very high heat - it’s an unsweetened lemon with a hint of mint, a lot of green leaves and a lot of cucumber at first. The florals come in Perry quickly and then I definitely get the soapy clean vibe (classic soapy orange blossom!) without leaning towards shampoo or cleaning products. On my skin the deep drydown smells like a freshly cut, firm mango. The perfume never looses the sharp lemon, watery cucumber or green Shiso, but the just ripe mango comes up to meet it and sweeten it up just a touch!

It’s fleeting but it has a fantastic massive spray and is so cooling in hot weather. Functions like a refreshing cologne and yes, has a vibe of Light Blue but is less woody but equally unisex. Plus this has a much nicer bottle and is way cheaper too!

Mirabelka03

Happy positive summer morning zesty scent. Longevity 1-2 hours max with minimal sillage. Nice glass bottle.

ipuks3

Skābena citronu limonāde. Nav slikta. Pat nē, sākuma riktīgs Lemonceli.

I read the reviews here & figured I would give this a shot. It's a miss for me. It's okay, I gave it to my sister in law. She's over 50 and this is a cheerful scent for the right individual.
I live in humid weather. It doesn't smell like fizzy lemonade. It's cloying upon the initial blast and I feel the ginger ruins the scent. I can see why some people would say this is for a cooler day.
Tunisia has a dryer arid heat so I believe this will perform better in that climate vs where I live in the states.
Mediterranean feel as with most lemon scents.
It's not photo realistic, I have scents with lemon in it from Fragonard a niche company in France, I know what photo realistic lemon smells like, this isn't it.
During the dry down phase, the woods and mint pop out a tad, it doesn't quite reach floor cleaner phase because of the nectar in the mango but that granny smith apple adds a tinge of sourness, cucumber in scents can turn pickily.
It's a good value. If you're a fan of something like limoncello, I wouldn't go for this one. I can't stand D&G Light Blue as I find that 100% unisex masculine leaning.
I think if you're living in a dry hot climate which gets some cold weather & you don't have a lot of funds, you like to garden and over 50, this scent is for you.

rasteria

I should have listened to the people who said it reminds them of Light Blue. For me there is no lemon, no shiso, just straight forward LB that refuses tho leave or transform. Not a fan.

vos

Lemon Dulci is mainly lemon with a soapy clean touch to it. Do not mistake it to mean cleaning product artificial. Think old fashioned natural lemon soap shoved in the linen closet lo scent the towels and bedding. Fresh without getting sour or watery. Ultimate spring and summer fragrance.

Emera1d

Mouth-wateringly juicy lemon, without being bitter or sour or resemble cleaning spray. Dries down very fresh and slightly sweet, but not too sweet. Surprising longevity for a citrus scent. Perfect balance, can't wait for the hot summer days to wear it. £24 for 100ml from notino which was great value. Would recommend if you are looking for a fresh citrus forward perfume for summer.

Vellocet

Lemon dulce has one of the most photorealistic lemon i’ve ever smelled. It’s so sparkly and uplifting, perfect for summer. In the drydown I feel the freshness from the mint which I love. Great perfume but the longevity is quite poor.

MySkin

I blind bought a 100 ml bottle few days ago and I am still not sure how do I feel about this perfume.
I had different expectations, having in mind more lighthearted, summer vibe but it is more masculine, herbal mixture.
Easily liked if smelled on a man to be honest, not convinced it would make me wanna buy it if I smelled it on a woman.
Can't put my finger on what exactly irritates me but I am guessing it's the basil-anise touch of the shiso.
Have to figure out what to mix it with to uplift the heaviness.
Stays too close to the skin.
Love Chopard, but this one was a let down...
Definitely test before buy.

FirstSense

I'm a guy that "suffers" from a prominent lemon addiction, especially in the spring and summer. When I noticed a heavy discounted 100 ml bottle Chopard got my attention. I smelled it coincidentally in a store and immediately loved it and pulled the trigger. What a lovely happy lemon perfume is this. This Chopard is marketed towards women but like all good perfumes it just smells soo good that for me gender doesn't play a role. It opens with a unique minty lemon candy and I smell some sparkling semi sec white wine. How summery will you have it! Than it goes into a mixture of delicious summer fruits. The apple, ginger, sisho and cucumber deliver a green freshness and keeps the fragrance from getting too sweet. In the musky dry down the lemon is still very prominent and that's a very strong point for this happy perfume together with an acceptable longevity (5,6 hours). The golden ring on the bottle top is a bit flimsy but the cap is made of heavy glass. (watch your toes in the bathroom when you apply this). I can really agree with the name of this frag. This is a sweet happy lemon indeed! And I love it!

soldier71

just love it. plain, sweet and aromatic lemon....nothing complicated, happy, go lucky, summery frag

GenXperfumegirl

I bought this on a blind by because it was very inexpensive through FragranceNet. This is a very bright lemony citrus scent. On the tester paper it came off a little sharp. But on my skin, it is a lovely bright sparkly lemony mint scent. As it dries down, some of the white florals are coming through. This will be a lovely fragrance on a hot day…it’s bright, effervescent and sparkly.

ViouAmara

Lemon, sugar, mint. Nobody to make the connection with the lemon throat soothing gummies? Vicks citron, Strepsils, Ricola? Even the mentholated herby ginger note enhances the feeling. Not bad, pugnacious with a very good longevity for something citrus based, but the medicinal connection is a bit too strong for me.

Brooke1988

First of all, the bottle design is stunning in person and it represents the fragrance perfectly. On my skin, this opens with a bright, sweet, sunny, juicy lemon/mandarin/ginger combination. As it dries down, I get the delicious green apple note with a slightly floral touch. Perhaps it is the combination of notes, but I am also getting an undercurrent of unsweetened green tea which is really lovely. The fresh mint starts peeking through and the sweetness subsides (although, I wish it stayed around!) Overall, this is a fresh and energizing fragrance that comes across very unisex to my nose. I will get a lot of use out of it during the spring and summer months!

Deianera

I'm a big fan of very sharp unisex unsweet verbena/verveine/lemon/citrus fragances but this is not really it. It's like a very soft girly rendition, like summer sugary lemonade or lemon flavoured ice cream. It's definitely not bad and it is very uplifting. But like summer lemonade or ice cream, it's also gone superfast! After 20 minutes there is nothing left unfortunately. It's a shame really. I expected more from Chopard.

jacquavit

Maybe I received a bad bottle, but this fragrance was overpoweringly sweet and had insane longevity. I could barely detect the citrus over the headachingly sweet meringue note. It did not make me happy but rather induced a migraine.

Le chat noir

This is a sweet lemon with mint in the opening, like a mojito. The dry down is a lemon merengue! I love love love the scent, but it does not last even though it claims to be a EDP. I am very disappointed about the longevity. That might be the reason why it was so affordable. Would I recommend it? Yes, because you definitely deserve the 15 min happiness boost!

Fashionplatefanny

Such a yummy scent. It smells like a delicious lemon, mint sherbet. It’s bright and zesty to start and it eventually dries down to a lovely bright happy, powdery, soapy scent. It really is lovely and uplifting. I don’t usually enjoy soapy scents but this one is so bright and happy in an elegant grown up way.
It’s long lasting and non offensive. Personally I feel that this is not a very summery fragrance. It is fresh but the powdery soapiness makes me feel that it’s nicer for Autumn or winter. Or maybe the office in an air conditioned environment where the skin is cool. I don’t see this as a scent for the sweaty humidity of summer,
I love the bottle, such a beautiful heavy glass bottle and lid. Looks beautiful on the perfume tray.

mrnoise

It is a really happy scent like its name. Also reminds me of Moschino perfumes

haunt_me

it's a minty, sugary lemonade on a hot summer day. I love the bottle and I love the scent.

LadyJedi

It's zesty, fresh and lemony, true, but there's nothing sweet about it so I think the name is totally misleading. I expected it to be balmier and more sugary in the drydown but on my skin its sparkly, minty and colognish. It's easily a unisex frag, it's sharp and could be headache-inducing for some. The bottle is quite nice and even though the juice inside is not wow, I do appreciate the sillage and lasting power. It does have positive summer vibes and I can imagine myself wearing it on a yacht around the Mediterranean!

alize13

it is really a happy scent for me, i can smell the bergamot with the zesty citrus and a little bit of mint. first time when i smell this it was az alcohol burst but i think the tester was a little bit off, but i ordered it because it was dirt cheap so now at home at the end of this s*tty winter season its is like a hug for my soul. a perfect moderate fresh skin scent, not too complicated but lovely!

Stoicchild

Okay I have complaints! The first initial spray of this gives you a little hope, but the dry down is the main disappointment. It dries down to a toilette cleaner scent. I had high hopes for this after using Felicia Roses, but what the fuck Chopard?! It does smell like Light Blue by D&G which I hate.

s.cooke

I think Dulci is a misnomer, there's nothing sweet about this. It's more of a garden lemon. Actually, I get lemongrass from this, which I love! Lots of citral here, like a lemon peel. I'm a fan of all things citrus and this lasts longer than some of my others including 4711, Hadrien, MJ Lemon, etc.

OTA Mom

A pretty lemon surprise, very nice for its price point and the lemon drop note lasted two hours. Wearing it did make me happy!

ScentedPlaza

A blind buy. Reminiscent of the "Eclat d’Arpège" by Lanvin. Lemony, cologne-ish, also woody and has a citrusy lemonade feel.

xValerijax

I have bought all the Chopard Happy testers for less then 20 dollars. And trying them on back and forth I have to say this one is the best for me.

Its mint lemon lozenges which really amplifies the lemon. It really does not remind me of any perfume, I have both D&G light blue and light blue intense and it is not like those at all. This one is all lemon and only lemon.

As for performance, it starts off as I said like minty lemon but at the drydown it becomes a bit sweet but not sickly sweet. It projects a bit, but it definitely could be better. Longevity is good, I can smell it slightly on my clothes the next day.

By comparison, Bigaradia has an amazing bitter orange opening but that does not last more then 45 mins and then it turns into a bit of a generic sweet perfume (kind of vanilla-ish type of smell). Brigardia lasts OK as well but Its such a shame because the orange on top is soooo good. As for Felicia Roses, this one is has the best performance, its strong and it lasts however I have smelt this before and its one of those Versace crystal perfumes. Dunno which, I preferred the dark, the others are a bit generic... However, I like it because of that reason, its a crowd pleaser I guess.

Don't get me wrong, I think they are all good for the price that I paid. However the Lemon Dulci is more my taste.

Mystères du Château de Dé

This high concept fragrance projects softy. Quite unusual overall, although Baldessarini Nautic Spirit is one fragrance in the same ballpark. This is lighter and weirder than Baldessarini, and no sea or water notes here. I would like to amp up the cucumber to see what happens. I feel neutrally about this, I like the projection but my nose is confused if I contemplate it closely. Lemon Dulci seems like a citrusy but "classy" EDP more than a casual freshie. I prefer Bigaradia of this collection.

LaContessina

Lovely.
Even if I own a hundred fresh citrus frags, I am always happy to bring a new one in my collection.
Lemon Dulci is, quite obviously, about lemon and citruses but not done in a classic cologne way.
I find it feminine because there is a sort of sweet tenderness to it.
Starts as a lemony, green mint (lots of mint!) blast, green herbs like juniper or Rosemary. Lovely, fresh but not harsh. Balsamic. I call it the Spa phase! Smells like aromatherapy!
This phase subsides after some minutes to give way to a creamy, sweet lemon.

That's the part where this fragrance becomes more feminine and gentle. Orange blossom peeks in. A tiny bit of freshly sliced mango. Just an echo in the background (...not a fruity mess i mean!).
The base is rounded by the woods but stays zesty due to a sparkling ginger. You can feel citruses all along the way besides the other notes that pop up.

This fragrance makes me feel good.
I can understand the comparison to Girl in Capri (did a side by side comparison): they're in the same family but they're different.
GiC is way more grapefruit than lemony and its heart is girly-fruity -dept. store like.
Lemon dulci is niche quality and more mature oriented.

Longevity is good (4 hours mark) for a Citrus based frag. Sillage is average; if you overspray you will get complimented, otherwise with a classical 2 sprays it will stay quiet.
Ideal for summer and hot days when you need a fresh pick me up.
The bottle is a luxury: solid, heavy quality glass shaped like a yellow topaz, the stopper is a aqua blue sphere made of glass (!), gold lettering, it's a remarkable item (I'm not always keen on commenting bottles, but this one is beautiful, really beautiful).

Really happy to have splurged on this one and Bigaradia, to be reviewed soon!

Florind

Top note really evokes happiness! (It may be used as a happy medicine.)
Then, till the end it's lemon soap or lemon balm continually. Lemony sparkle over opaque white.

Yes it's linear. And that's the excellence as citrus. Moreover this citrus has powerful sillage and longevity. There remains faint smell even after shower or laundry. Never fading lemon soap. How cost effective.

Bottle - though simple, it's like a huge gem for the clarity, texture and color.

buubuu

Don’t know where to start. I was surprised. It started as a lemon candy scent almost identical to Prada Candy sugar pop but surprisingly turned into the woody note at the dry down.

I was confused for a minute, it’s not a bad thing. I have A girl in Capri so I understand a twist behind these new lemony scents however that woody scent is very warm for me during in the hot day. More suitable for colder days. That kind of woody scent. The notes in the perfume change very quickly to feel the freshness of citrusy scent to enjoy in hot weather.

I hope this one is last more than two hours. Too bad the scent is quite nice tho, very fresh. And bottle is very luxurious.

Mademoiselle B

Even though this is a citrus scent, it is also pretty spicy for me, most probably because of the ginger and woody notes. It is nice, but is not as fresh as other citric perfumes that I am used to. I recommend it for spring or fall, I do not think that I will use it in the summer, it is too spicy for that for my taste.

Cherry_Darling

Blind test: Smelled big citruses, oranges / lemons musks, mint, (or something similarly refreshing eucaliptus maybe) definitely bergamot...was pretty spot on with this one, though I can't smell the mango / apple / ginger which usually stand out (I guess if they're prominent notes) here they more just add to a nice sweet fruitiness. Very refreshing, very happy scent.

Like all citruses I have tried the citrus disappears fast, however it does have a nice sweet woodsy green slightly minty drydown that lingers quite a while. Big like!

Donkar

Smelled it today, I like it, think it's almost unisex. Smells fresh and uplifting, as you can guess the main note is lemon, and there are some green notes lurking around it. Would wear it for a few times, though i think atelier colognes / acqua di parma produce better citruses, hence why i wouldn't buy a bottle of this.

dglightblue

Dulci lemon, summer test, skin.

Love these bottles. My country doesn’t seem to have the orange coloured bottle :-(

Ok lemon dulci, bright, herby, I don’t think this is like Light Blue, or The green Dkny.
It’s bright lemony herby, it’s not sour, it dries down a bit like sniffing rounded lemonade, this doesn’t stay bright or true to what you initially spray.

For my use I would layer if I came upon a bottle.
Try mixing with a non acidic sweet scent!

Well.. it will be short since i dint want to try and find something positive just to justify this perfume's launch. Lets be clear: not every review should be positive...
To my nose after several hours of wear test its just any other Zara fragrance with bit better lasting power. It has thst typical Zara base which i cannot stabd in a lot of their fragrances and after initial happy sugary-lemony blast it will turn into that chemical base... nonono... i just cannot justify it... for this price i will buy several same smelling Zara fragrances. Sorry guys... not my cup of tea.
Do not remove this comment as negative comments are as useful as positive ones, rsoecially to blind users. We should have a variety of opinions here, not only praising reviews.

ScarlettX

This has very nice fresh and uplifting top notes. The bottle is also just for my taste.
Top notes are very-very citrusy.
After an hour this scent had changed into a very chemical one. Somehow woody and spicy and I don't like it that much anymore.
Too bad, but maybe should try it on skin too just to be sure.
On paper seems to be herbal and I'm just not sure about it.

Taliera

An exciting, uplifting scent! Makes me feel happy. And, as the name suggests - based around lemon.

It opens with a sweet, fruity lemon, accompanied by mint. Probably the sweetness is achieved by mandarin, although it did not register as such.

In the heart it is mostly sharp lemon, with greenness. Not unpleasant... but it reminds me of a lot of colognes out there. I would say it's most similar to the D&G Light Blue range. Also has echos of 4717 Cologne, Sisley Eau du Soir and O de Lancome. It's a typical citrus aromatic/herbal, while maintaining the fun, joyful spirit.

During the drydown it becomes a deep, sweet lemon. I couldn't pick up individual notes, but the perfume's character completely changes. This is subjective... but in this phase, the word that came to mind was "silly". It feels silly and unserious. Something to remind you not to care about life!

Another beautiful bottle just like the pink and red. The notes seem very pretty, i can smell them in my mind already. Definetely will purchase both from the collection. Probably they will be a little hard to find but maybe these ones will have a wider distribution then the other Chopard perfumes.
