There's a video out there where Sergio Momo mentions that this is a "rework/review of a classic". I think everyone can tell what scent this is a callback to.
There is enough of a difference where it doesn't feel redundant to have this and L'heure Bleu. L'heure Bleu is more powdery and medicinal whereas Corallo has a noticeable ambery base with a stronger iris note. If you've tried either Apres L'ondee or L'heure Bleu but wanted something more robust then this is definitely worth trying. Although I suggest you try it soon because I think it's being discontinued....

A delicate embrace of nostalgia imbued with serenity from the very first spritz:

"Corallo" is an olfactory caress that embodies the fleeting beauty of spring. Its floral notes beckon you to relish every moment of this enchanting season. It's a fragrance that conjures images of strolls through blooming gardens, a sensory experience that soothes the soul.
With exceptional ingredients, a refined iris, exquisite hints of bergamot, and a lavishly captivating lavender.

One of my favorite Casamorati, and also one of my favorite fragrance of all time.

My current favourite use of Iris. Love at first sniff. High quality and has a nice green element to it. The fact it is difficult to find makes it even more alluring.

There are some posts below that really do an amazing job articulating what this smells like. I was absolutely blown away by how beautiful this scent was. I got a sample and even though its very high priced, this is exactly the quality of scent that I would think of as fair at that price point. Sweet, floral, powdery but not overly feminine. Can be worn comfortably by both sexes I would think. I personally think it's stunning. Unfortunately its not easy to find unless you go straight to the source

Yes it's iris
powdery
green
violet
white floral
vanilla
woody
but I can't smell lavender in my skin, I feel so feminine because so powdery with touch green and white flowers , best weather is cold or fall 😊

This perfume brought me back to my childhood. For those who grew up in a Hispanic household, specifically a Cuban household, this on the dry down smells exactly like Violetas Francesas, the one with the with the little girl on the bottle. This perfume might take a little to get used to because of the strong powdery lavender note, but it is a very nice smelling perfume. I'm not very good at breaking down the different notes, but this is one you sample before you buy. This is good year round and all occasions.
Update: 6 hours later, two of my coworkers just asked out loud, "Who smells like a Cuban baby?" I said that would be me,LOL! Not a bad thing, I guess. LOL!
Second update: I ended up selling this fragrance. It was leaning too feminine for me and it smelled too much like the baby cologne I mentioned.

This does bear a solid resemblance, to me, to Apres L'Ondee pure parfum and Coty's L'Origan. They share the clove meets ionones, orris, and doughy anisic aldehyde accord of those two. Apres L'Ondee's current EDT is more transparent, melancholy, and "chilly" (if that makes sense), whereas this captures some of the density of the discontinued extrait. It's well constructed on its own merits for sure and definitely a novelty to smell something so "Belle Epoque" created today.

So...I freaking love this. Thanks, CurlyScents!
When I first smelled this, I was honestly a bit disappointed, while also being intrigued. To me, it first smelled like a tire shop. Very strange. So, I looked up the notes, because the reviews made it to be something else. Then it made sense...this is one of those things(to me) when you don't know what you are smelling until you find out what it is. Part of this, is because Corallo is very unique. I've never smelled anything like this. NEVER! This is what I like in a niche fragrance. Something different and artistic in nature. The notes that threw me off were, jasmine, neroli, along with the green notes. Jasmine can be so strange to me, like it is in Amouage Reflection Man. I love it, but it may take some getting used to. Like an acquired taste. Now, it smells like soap, and powdery darkness. It has this thickness to it, almost like licorice does. I love this, but I wouldn't necessarily compare it to Dior Homme Intense or Prada L'Homme. I couldn't find a sample so I bought it, and I'm glad I did. This can only be bought on the Xerjoff Universe website. If you are in the US, just click on the 3 tab that allows you to choose USA. Then pay however. I chose PayPal, because it transfers to euros for you. That is all.

I want to purchase the bottle, if anyone did not enjoy it and wants to sell please pm

Smells like mike n ikes candy but strong medicinal smell, I'm completely turned off by it.

For a year ago I started seriously exploring the fragrance world. I wanted to find a special scent that will blow away my mind.
I have now close to a hundred samples most of them are niche and got around 25 bottles of perfumes.

However, there is just one scent that ever blew my mind... Corallo.
Yes, it got some kind of old school vibe about it. And it smells very lipstick/makeup like. But I LOVE IT, I LOVE IT, I LOVE IT.

This will be my birthday gift.

Update: Recently I brought Dior Homme Parfum and I was blown away again. However, DHP does change a bit more than Corallo and get even better with the changes. Corallo is best in the opening and then it gets weaker with time.

Casamorati is my favorite line in all of perfume and Corallo definitely belongs. As with most, it has a very classical style and takes the wearer back to simpler times yet in an elegant way. Corallo is both green and powdery with complexity and a distinct set of stages. This is not cheap smelling nor is it boring ir linear. If you want something different and luxurious, this is definitely a gorgeous option.

I love Xerjoff is my preferred house but this one is a total disappointment, i completely agree with person bellow who said it smell like an old women, reminds me the cleaning product my grand mother use to clean the bathroom. This is the worst of the collection for me.
Edit: I stand by for what i said above, but after a few wearings i am just getting compliments from random people

giampaolo.baldoni

Sorry, but I have to disagree with the previous reviews: this is a really beautiful perfume, plus it STRONGLY reminds me of Guerlain's Aprés L'Ondée extrait.
I can't believe that no one noticed this!
Long lasting like all the Casamorati/Xerjoff offerings, and a really striking composition, powdery and nostalgic.
I will definitely but a FB real sono.

we come to corallo, from the casamorati 1888 series. notes are green notes, lavendaer, iris, neroli, jasmine

this fragrance smells dated an old-ish. this is what a woman 50+ would wear. veyr dated feel.

you get blast of aldehydes, greens, iris, lavender. the smell is antique like an not safe for work. id say 2 sprays max because more than that will offend others.

main players are aldehydes , greens, iris. your grandma's type of frags. leans feminine.

very unwearable for most people. strong perfomer. do not blind buy. this creation is hard to wear

score: 6/10

Sharp, astringent-like soapy cleaning chemicals mixed with cheap, waxy orris. Gets more tolerant in the heart and worse as it dries. Smells like Xerjoff slapped together green molecules. Incomplete and disappointing

Jimmy821

Yeah baby, I really needed this one in my Collection. I love this clean green smelling perfume. Today 9/22/2018 I made this one my SOTD. If you love vanilla notes, Iris, lavender, and Amber than this one is right up your alley. This is not your typical flowerbomb fragrance, but a very worthy and I may add one regal cologne. You can wear this one in all four seasons. To get this one it’s a exclusive so you’ll have to get it on the Xerjoff universe website. Take care and have a nice day

A scent made in heaven.
Corallo opens with a cocktail of citruses of a soapy variety, very sophisticated smelling, paired to lavender, adding to the herbal aroma italiana that screams refinement , the olfactory result gives off a feeling of wealth and luxury.
The revolutionary arrangement is paired to a superb iris butter, waxy, creamy , super rich and full body.
In the heart I experienced a floral accord of abstract quality that leaves me at a loss for words.
As Corallo dries down it blows me completely away again with its shifting kaleidoscopic qualities, the citrusy floral concoction is kissed by vanilla, wrapping the entire olfactory experience in a sweet ambery foundation.

I cant wait for it and i know i have to buy it❤️
Casamoratti line is my favorite, parfums de marly is the next
